Naughty Betty getting measured up for her new stockings.
First big 1940s event after covid, restricted numbers in attendance, but still a great event, well done to all re-enactors in full costume and dress for bearing up under 25 degree heat.

Think this is some kind of fern. As the plant grows the spiral unfurls and I presume new growth pod is revealed. So simple almost mechanical. Its crude and beautiful at the same time. HDR to reveal more of the form
Hi Guys, Im intrested in feed back on what you think about this Didgital artwork, image was taken by myself at Hervey bay, Queensland , Australia.
Why have I got two cocktails?
Because it was coming up to 7 pm and the Velvet Bar's offer of two cocktails for £10 was about to expire. Besides those Brambles were lovely.
Taken on Canal Street on the Sunday evening after Sparkle.
The owners of the yellow and red t-shirts about 15 feet behind this spiderwort didn't even know they were being photographed. This was taken on the back porch of the Biltmore Estate House this summer. I was sitting and waiting for my hubby/brother-in-law to finish the house tour and thought I'd shoot some of the plants next to the comfy wicker chairs. I was very pleased when these two women stood by one of the doorways, creating a perfect background for the flower!

We’ve been scarred by lightnings,
a signature runs on
our obedient backs.
In these times of impermanence
a proof: some trunks can bear
the permanent energy of a peach-pink fire.
(Give me in return an unexpected
thing: quiet wave, immaterial skin,
the tree-bark of you, my deep-black sea,
slow wind of syllables whispered In
a cloud-ear of hums and roars,
you mine me yours
perfect
storm).
What a way to while away a few hours in the company of fabulous girlfriends enjoying good wine, good food and excellent conversation. Girls are so much more sociable then men don't you think.
Look at this face I know the years are showing.--
Look at this life I still don't know where it's going...--
I don't know much But I know I love you.. --
And that may be All I need to know..

The natural beauty of the New River Gorge paired with such an elegant man
made design is the perfection combination here in Fayetteville, WV. The
