On vacation in Colorado, I hiked up to Hanging Lake and it was well worth the hike up! Hanging Lake is a water fall and lake on top a mountain!
It is winter and there is nothing I enjoy more than sitting with my friends around a campfire sipping hot chocolate

A perfect view, the horses were brought in at Easter, it's great seeing them in the mornings when you look out.

One day I got this idea to balance a strawberry on glass.
It wasn’t the shot that took the most time, it was the search for a strawberry that could balance on end. My quest was consuming, literally, as I digested the complexities of form and shape. Ultimately I was forced to think outside the strawberry box, or face years of therapy. Did I find the perfect strawberry? Well almost…
Almost too perfect....
Until I can get Lightroom sorted I am reduced to sharing old pictures with you! This one seems to be appropriate. It's pouring, chilly and dark here!
This goat looks like he's staring at me, but he's really giving my German shepherd a thorough once-over.
In case anyone knows the bride or groom and thinks they might like the pictures (we have a few), the wedding was at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mellieħa at around 5pm on 24th March 2023.
We were looking at Parish Church on the way back from our walk and wandered over to where two people were looking down on the Sanctuary Church - the Churches are next door to each other, but are at different levels. They had been waiting 30 minutes for the bride to arrive, we were lucky as she arrived 5 minutes after we did :-)
I think our cabin has the most perfect location. And a picture like this makes me relax and find peace.
It has been said that water is the most perfect traveller because when it travels it becomes the path itself!

The end of a perfect day at Moana, a mid coast beach south of Adelaide.
(From the archive - original on film. Taken about 17 years ago using my Minolta SRT101 film SLR with a 58 mm lens (about 36 mm DSLR equivalent.)
This old, abandoned cottage is on the shore of Loch Gruinart which is a huge inlet in the coast of Islay. The loch is a haven for waterbirds, particularly barnacle and white-fronted geese which spend the winter there.
For those people who think it always rains in Scotland - it doesn't!
