A classic mid-twentieth century fixed lens rangefinder the Minolta Hi-Matic 7s is one of those outlier cameras, while not as popular as similar Canon or Olympus cameras the Hi-Matic 7s is still a solid choice and can often be had for cheaper than the other two. The Russian-made Fed-2 may look like a Leica but it certainly is not, and this camera is a whole more usable than the Leicas of the same era! But like many Russian-made cameras, they do have their quality issues from pin-holing on the shutter curtain to poor build quality. But when you get a good one, it won't let you down!
