I think I should have gone with Perceptol rather than Microphen here, while not my favourite combination, it isn't a bad one either. The tone, contrast, and sharpness are all good, but you do get a bit more grain than I was expecting.

This is about 1 stop overexposured. Maybe the 6 Volt of the 2 lithium batteries were a bit too much for my "new" LX. Made it a little bit grainy. Must calibrate the light-meter next time.

And just when I thought that Acros II couldn't get better, it does. I can also see why my partner in photographic crime loves this combination so much! Everything is just smooth, tone, contrast, grain, and yet still sharp.

Thanks to a rumour started in the early days of the Internet; the Maxxum 28-135mm lens has earned the nickname 'Secret Handshake Lens' as it was rumoured that Minolta sold the lens at cost as a thank-you. Of course, those are unfounded rumours, but there's no secret that this is a fantastic lens! A perfect carry around lens when you have room for one camera and one lens.

At first glance, you may just pass this Yashica rangefinder over for just being another mid-1960s fixed lens rangefinder. But don't let the look fool you, the Lynx-14 is a bit of a sleeper in the optics department boasting a f/1.4 45mm lens on it, plus one of the simplest meters I've ever used on such a camera.

Leica 111f ,15mm heliar, tri-x at 320asa in perceptol 1-3 15mins. My first roll of tri-x in years , a low light shot testing its range. The negative captured well but the scan is a bit of a compromise. Pleased with the results from tri-x and have bought 10 more rolls.
