Thanks to a rumour started in the early days of the Internet; the Maxxum 28-135mm lens has earned the nickname 'Secret Handshake Lens' as it was rumoured that Minolta sold the lens at cost as a thank-you. Of course, those are unfounded rumours, but there's no secret that this is a fantastic lens! A perfect carry around lens when you have room for one camera and one lens.
The full review drops in May 2021!

There are a very few models capable to cast a shadow over my beloved iron horse. Alex is one of 'em.
Earlier that day we were participating in a Distinguished Gentlemen Ride event, so all we needed was a role of film, some of that generous sun and a half an hour to fire few shots.
On a technical note, I have surprised myself by developing this in (all interested may as well write down the recipe) Ilford Perceptol 1+3, 20C for 23 minutes with 10 sec agitations each minute.
Film used: Kodak Tri-X 400 exposed at it's nominal value.
Hasselblad 500C/M with Carl Zeiss macro planar CFi f4/120mm with RED FILTER (-3) used.
I was surprised that even digitaltruth had very little data on a combination of Tri-X at 400 ASA and Perceptol, don't ask me how I've calculated this one.

leica 111f, 50mm jupiter lens, apx100 semi stand 60mins in perceptol 1-3.. For my leica 111f I have 15,35 and 90mm voigtlander lens + a 135mm leica lens I was missing a standard 50mm lens and bought a russian zorki 4 k camera that came with a 50mm f2 jupiter lens . this is a test shot with it, aperture wide open at F2 . As it cost me only 15 pounds for camera and lens I am quite impressed.

One of the finest ultra-wide zoom lens produced by Nikon and one that has not yet been updated or changed in any way. With the massive curved front element, it means that even at the wide end there's little in the way of distortion and a fast f/2.8 constant aperture there's no denying that this lens is an AF Nikkor wide-angle junkie's dream.
