i was about to dedicate this yummy dish to my flickr friend JonB cause i thought he's totally in love with OCTO ..but i just read his comment on my other pic - mr battle prefers a peanutbutter jelly sandwich...EEWWW ; ))
I took this shot 50 years ago, when we lived in Connecticut. I was using a little Olympus Pen-F, which was a 1/2-frame 35mm SLR camera, which produced 72 images on a 36 exposure roll of film, thus reducing the cost of film by half, cost always being an issue for me back then. However, if I wanted to make enlargements, having only half a 35mm frame of film to work with got to be a challenge . This is a cropped image and was quite grainy and not all that sharp, but I always loved the shot and did the best I could to clean it up.
I made this peanut butter house and hung it right outside our kitchen window and kept it stuffed with peanut butter all winter long, and we enjoyed an endless stream of birds flying in to partake of this never ending delight (there's a perch on the other side of the house for the birds to land on).
Bananas, peanut butter, and cocoa combine to create a rich brownie-like cookie with bursts of creamy banana and chunky peanut. Check out those awesome chunks of banana! Did I mention these were vegan? www.vanesscipes.com/2007/08/21/vanana-cookies-vegan-banan...
I got up at eight o'clock, which is quite late for me. Then, after getting dressed, I spent quite a while on the computer looking at Flickr.
I didn't feel like having my usual porridge, or even toast & marmalade … so I had milk & peanut butter 😀
A person should always have a back up supply of peanut butter ... I love peanut butter!!

This was a win win in my house tonight. I got a picture, my son got a sandwich and my dog got the missing corner. Everyone was happy.
Insanely addictive & simple treat. Blogged:

Yesterday 5 of these little birds (don't know how you call them in Englisch) made a lot of noise and around a pot of peanutbutter hanging in my garden. Beautiful to look at! I had to take these pictures through the window, so the quality is not very good.
Thanks for your visit!

Chocolate cupcakes are deliciously light in texture and very chocolaty; frosted with creamy peanut butter buttercream and topped with a sour cherry.
Decorated with shaved chocolate.
Peanut butter chocolate lovers...These cookies are so good...You'll be craving for a second one before you finish the first one.... ;-))
recipe at my blog
during the american colonial times the americans introduced the filipinos to peanut butter and it didn't take long for an enterprising filipino businessman, in the 1950's, to produce his own unique blend. many philippine kids grew up with this locally produced peanut butter, specially during the 1970's when importation was regulated. it used to be packaged in a glass jar with metal cap but has been replaced with an all plastic jar and lid container. the content, though remains just as good as the first time i tried it bringing back happy fond memories of the good old days!
