Another from the archives.... and I didn't hate this one when I took it or when I processed it. Not sure how I missed posting it, but since I haven't had much time for shooting lately I've been digging through the oldies.
Pathways is a tri-annual publication we put out that serves as a catalog of all adult classes and events for the upcoming season. In past years, they've all had the same cover, so this year we're marking off each season with a new cover, hopefully to keep it fresh in folk's minds. I've been trying to choose imagery that both reflects the season, but speaks of growth or moving down a path.

I shot this footbridge before and called it "Pathway to Autumn". Maybe I'll try it in all the different seasons. SOOC.
This summer I added a new pathway from the woods in the back toward the garden and screened in porch. I found these cute foot stepping stones, but the dealer only had left feet remaining with no more coming in since they'd been discontinued. I grabbed all eleven feet, painted their toenails, & created this Left Footed Path! 😍🙋♀️
I took this picture of a treeline in my local park, I really liked how long the pathway seemed to go.
I have started shooting in RAW mode now, as I have recently been accepted as a contributing photographer to a New Zealand website that sells images to advertising companies, the public, TV, and basically anyone else who wants to purchase them. It is a requirement that RAW mode be used and converted later to jpg, so i'm giving it a go.This is my first image available and the website is Mychillybin.co.nz. Its all about kiwiana and the New Zealand way of life. The beach is a huge part of our lives and these paths are very recognisable over the entire country.

I liked the perspective standing at the top of the brick stairway looking down the path into this beautiful setting surrounded by Yoshino Cherry trees.........Even though I was a week early and missed the full bloom it was wonderful to catch none the less............!
I even got to practice my cloning skills as this area was filled with people when I took this shot.........:)

Cwm Idwal & Pen yr Ole Wen on a lovely sunny day, just before the wind started to pick up.
Not knowing quite exactly where this tree was, using satellite images to look at shadows I finally found it, but not before ensuring I dragged my wife through a stream, up a massive bank and then around a nearly vertical rockface, just to see a gentle footpath awaiting us.
One of my favourite views from this trip, my first to Wales.
