I am noticing that altho' we've basically had no spring, and we've had no summer, the leaves are starting to fall in JULY.

Calgary has many hundreds of Km's of pathways and cycle ways city crews make a great job of keeping them clear for all to enjoy.
We all walk different paths in life some good some bad all heading in different directions often with different goals in mind but always remember enjoy the walk enjoy the journey its not the destination that is important its how you get there that matters.

A Spring Day Exploring the Leo Adler Memorial Pathway in Baker City Oregon
Got to spend a little time this afternoon enjoying the spring weather along the Powder River on the Leo Adler Memorial Pathway in Baker City. The Leo Adler Memorial Pathway follows the Powder River through Baker City and connects Baker City’s historic downtown and surrounding neighborhoods with multiple parks including Central Park in Downtown, Geiser Pollman Park, and the Baker Sports Complex.
The pathway is a local favorite and is always a great little urban escape in the heart of town with great foliage, birding and scenic views of both the Elkhorn and Wallowa mountain.

#3183 - 2016 Day 261: A pathway leads us and a light guides us, hopefully in a direction that we know is right.
Today I presented my Pyrenees expedition lecture to the UPP Conference near Birmingham. What a wonderful reception it received. Thank you everyone - especially paula-d and Guy for hosting me - for having me along, for listening and for coming with me on the journey.
It is so heartwarming when an audience of club photographers, just for an hour or so, once in a while, let themselves go fully with a flow of images that share experience. I said during the show that photography is, for me, an extension of living, not a thing in and of itself. I think the audience understood that at the end.

About this Shot
Must be going through a black and white phase as this is my third in a row, perhaps it is the lack of decent light and colour outside (and rubbish weather), that is influencing my choices.
I honestly can't wait for Spring/Summer to come this year. This has been my first Winter with my SLR and I have really struggled with:
(A) Getting motivated enough to get out and about
(B) The lack of any colour and life when I eventually get out.
I'm definitely a fair weather photographer :)
However looking through one of my 'Most Interesting' sets, my best shots tend to come together when there are some strong colours to capture.
