The pathway to the Togakushi shrine near Nagano, Japan is lined with these ancient towering conifers.
A footpath between two downtown blocks. It’s university property between the health center and the competitive swim pool. Nice as the lights were about to come on. This was a discovery. Very pleasant!
A gorgeous sunrise with a crescent moon framed perfectly between the coconut palm trees at Lauderdale by the Sea.

About this Shot
Must be going through a black and white phase as this is my third in a row, perhaps it is the lack of decent light and colour outside (and rubbish weather), that is influencing my choices.
I honestly can't wait for Spring/Summer to come this year. This has been my first Winter with my SLR and I have really struggled with:
(A) Getting motivated enough to get out and about
(B) The lack of any colour and life when I eventually get out.
I'm definitely a fair weather photographer :)
However looking through one of my 'Most Interesting' sets, my best shots tend to come together when there are some strong colours to capture.

Along the pathway there is a backyard fence, behind it are two small Yorkies that bark incessantly when we walk by. the owner after a short while will yell at them and the braking will stop, but only for a moment. we find it quiet entertaining. I took this from the yorkies point of view.

The footpath alongside the canal feeder channel at Rudyard, Staffordshire on a dull February afternoon.
Leaf miner created a beautiful pathway in quite an unusual color. At least it's the first one I have come across as far as I remember.

I got some awesome news to share with you all. I'm just waiting for the go ahead nod so that I finally can, but it's very exciting!
Here's a shot of my buddy's in Pathways. I think this was my 3rd time working with them and it is a great time.
This shoot was insane though, probably the coldest ever. 20 degrees combined with 30-40mph winds, made shooting difficult with modifiers, but we could only shoot for 5 mintues at a time before everyone got too cold, even my cybersyncs had a hard time keeping up in the conditions. But, we hopped in and out of our cars over the course of a few hours.
Then the sun peeked out for a lil bit and we snapped this while we could.

Saturday was lunch and a wander around Batemans (National Trust).
We are certainly getting our moneys worth out of our NT membership this year ... making up for the previous 2.
National Trust lunches are getting so much better and I had a very nice cheddar ploughmans.
