The boardwalk at Mono Lake. The milky way showed up from behind the clouds for one very brief moment on the way back to the Jeep. Almost as if it taunted me all night long. Frustrating and rewarding hobby at times.

Walk back in time and see over 100 classic cars and vehicles from the 1920s onwards. Set in a replica of a 1940s cobbled village street, you can view an assortment of vehicles including motorbikes, cars, vans, military and agricultural vehicles some of which have even been used in films and TV programs, such as ITV's "A Great Welsh Adventure" with Griff Rhys Jones.

We have a Cafe on site, (Cafe Nain), featuring local produce. a play area with outside seating and panoramic views of Snowdonia.

Time to return. Changing of the tide along a beach in North Cape May, New Jersey, USA.

This is a scene from Thorswood Nature Reserve. The reserve is owned/managed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and has stunning and far reaching panoramic views across the rolling Staffordshire Moorland countryside looking out over the Peak National Park, Derbyshire Dales, Weaver Hills and also has a clear view of Rugeley Power Station some 25 miles away in the flatter, south, part of the county (as in this view)

You'd think that having such good views would offer many possibilities for photos yet it's quite difficult because any features are so tiny that you need to zoom in - and then you lose the panorama, otherwise it's just endless, featureless fields. On this day, however, a good opportunity presented it'self because of the features in the sky and snow on the ground - so....click, had to be quick actually before those fabulous rays of light disappeared!

I don't normally do the "before and after" thing, but just for a change I decided to offer a glimpse of the original... so here you go...

Those of you who have been with me for quite awhile know there were some tough times, but I'm very happy to say I celebrated making it 5 years after all the yucky treatments and that's what they call cancer free... yay! Thanks to all of you for your friendship and support - I truly have so much to be grateful for! ♥︎

Kilminorth Wood is a nature reserve that runs along the West Looe River valley, close to the town of Looe in S.E. Cornwall. Classified as ancient woodland, it has been described as 'the Lungs of Looe'.

The wood is mostly oak trees, but there are also sycamore, rowan, holly and other varieties. The woods are a haven for wildlife including deer, foxes and badgers as well as a wide range of birds and insects.

One of the entrances to Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane. Please note the footbridge above. Captured looking towards the exit around the corner.

An interesting pattern of tree limbs that I just so happened to walk under.

This was one of those shots where I thought - yes its coming together with taking photos. It was a misty morning, big surf and a nice sunrise over at Norah head with the light from the lighthouse still going.

I can't wait to get my film scanner to scan this one

The only thing I think that's a bit uneven is the 50:50 ration between the sky and foreground, and may benefit from some cropping

Unbelievable colourful end to the day...I've toned this down bit too. Taken in the Peaks.

I love winter in Colorado! This is one reason why ... walking on the Colorado National Monument on a snowy, foggy day is heaven. (well, ANY day up there really!)
