Went to the cemetery this morning. I have never been to this one and it was huge. Got there around 0745 this morning, just as the morningg sun was coming up over the trees. Perfect time and the perfect time of the year to come.
Petit Minou lighthouse - planning wasn't great and I had to run to get the last of the light which polarised quite well.

Came across this view in the walk through Hardcastle Crags. The two paths joining is what first drew my attention, then tree's in the distance and being able to frame the scene with two more trunks.

Really amazing sunset at Corona del Mar beach in California. This whole area is like a photographers paradise, and I will definitely be coming back here. So many possibilities for compositions. I really wanted to get a photo of this arch, its called Cliff Island, and you have to hike quite a distance across slippery and sharp rock to get to it. Also the tide has to be low to get this close. I really like the way this photo turned out, and I hope you enjoy it!

A picture I'm not too sure I like or not, but that's quite important to me.
The beautiful woman in it is Laura Zalenga.
When I picked my first DSLR and opened my Flickr account 3 years ago, Laura's profile was literally the FIRST thing I stumbled upon by exploring the website and I was immediately fascinated by her work. And throughout my photographic journey these past years, her art (among a few others) has been one of my biggest inspirations.
Then I finally met her, and all these amazing, talented artists this summer (I played cool and didn't burst into fan-boy mode), and I realized how crazy life is. How we are all on the same boat. How a little kid with a camera can find inspiration in this crazy thing called Internet from these people from all over the world, who share their ways of portraying their realities and imagination to strangers...strangers that eventually became friends.
That's the beauty of it! The true human and artistic connection between people who decided to take the leap leading to friendship.
So yeah..I'll wrap this up... Laura is cool, Flickr is cool, art is cool and friends are awesome. YAY.

Rapeseed field near Windsor Great Park in Berkshire, England. Windsor Castle is in the distance.
The path that we trecked along and up to the location that we took one of my previous photos of Golden Bay, Malta. I loved the textures in the dirt surrounded by the bushes growing wildly and the blue sky.
Went out with Indriði on short notice and we went to Þingvellir for some nightscapes. We didn´t really expect any borealis because the forecast for them said there was little chance of them. Close to Mosfellsbær we saw this just before we got to Gljúfrastein where the famous writer Halldór Laxnes used to live, this is just up that hill.
The red light shining on the mountain to the left is ambient light coming from ReykjavÃk, the moon was almost full so that´s why there is so much light on the foreground and an almost blue sky.
Please pardon the slight ca on the LHS . It was caused by the window glass as this was shot from within a speeding car..... No, I wasn't driving :D

I actually managed to get up for 4.30am and up onto Hengistbury Head ready to capture the sun rising! The cloud stopped me from getting the shot I intended on (excuse for a revisit!) but the pathway leading across to the coastguard hut caught my eye. Very philosophical but it got me thinking about my pathway and all the great things happening at the moment.
Anyway, for a moment I thought I wouldn't come away with anything then the sky lit up for a short time just as the sun was rising to the left of the scene.
Have a great day guys!

The interior of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights has walkways that gradually take you through the various exhibits and to the higher levels of the building.
All the walkways are lined with alabaster which was chosen for its beautiful qualities when backlit.
Narrow, winding and potholed trails or broad, paved, signposted walkways. Pathways may have different forms but, as they say, if you find one with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere worthwhile...
