Taken last year one foggy morning near avebury with the lads. i really do need to get out but had a lot going on, i felt i better post something.

Some nice strong light on the drive into the barnyard area. Rain / snow every week lately so I was very hopeful that the drought conditions here in Virginia (East Coast USA) had dissipated. So I looked it up and no... it's not. Per the Virginia Drought Report: As of February 11, 2025 approximately 32% (13480 square miles) of Virginia is under drought conditions and 30% (12617 square miles) is Abnormally dry. Sad

Looking through my old shots, I stumbled upon this one. I remember it was such a beautiful day by the sea; I went there with my sister and there was this beautiful sunset, and I truly could not stop taking silhouette pictures.. they were very memorable few minutes, as if the sunshine was reminding me not to lose hope in finding happiness again. I was really depressed back then, but it's moments like these that got me through that summer.. at the end it stayed a memorable, very special summer in my heart, one of the hardest but most special ones. I felt so alive back then. Does that make any sense? I don't know, but it surprises me up to this day, and I love remembering these moments through my pictures..

The McDougal Church in Morleyville (between Calgary and Banff) was built in the early 1870s an renovated in the 1950. It's one of the oldest churches of its kind that is still in its original location.

It was the contrast of the denuded trees and the evergreen vegetation that attracted me to take this photograph.

A pathway well trodden ... I thought this looked better in black-and-white!
