Looking through my old shots, I stumbled upon this one. I remember it was such a beautiful day by the sea; I went there with my sister and there was this beautiful sunset, and I truly could not stop taking silhouette pictures.. they were very memorable few minutes, as if the sunshine was reminding me not to lose hope in finding happiness again. I felt so alive back then. Does that make any sense? I don't know, but it surprises me up to this day, and I love remembering these moments through my pictures..
The McDougal Church in Morleyville (between Calgary and Banff) was built in the early 1870s an renovated in the 1950. It's one of the oldest churches of its kind that is still in its original location.
Can you believe the lack of snow in this area?
