de Patch Adams, una pelÃcula considerada del montón, pero que a mi me cautiva y emociona, y con cuya filosofÃa de vida del personaje trato de identificarme siempre que puedo.
This pattern is from knitty.com, it is called Danica. I've started a scarf in this style and just love the pattern. I use Regia Silk for it.
Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. Patch all grown up and posing by the plant he was just eating. ;-)
He was born in a storage shed on the Continental Machines property in Savage, Minnesota (home of the legendary horse Dan Patch, world pacing record holder for over 50 years - hence his name!) We rescued the whole litter (except for two that had disappeared before they were old enough to take) before winter set in, and all found homes, though they had to be bottle fed for a few weeks. He's a gem. He's gotta have Maine Coon in him!
We attended Part I of the American Folk Art Museum's quilt exhibit and took a bunch of pictures to serve as inspiration for future projects.

Matt, Jake, and I went to a pumpkin patch to shoot some photos for The Breeze. It was fun and autumn-y.

The Daughter got these two Cabbage Patch dolls this year, and as Christmas night fell, she swaddled them and put them down for their long winter's nap. is it just me, or have Cabbage Patch dolls become less ugly over the years? I recall them being friggin' hideous when they first came out.

Free-hand stencil design was made on dark denim with Polymark & DecoArt fabric paints in apple green (lightened with white), orange, and purple. I made it as a sample and then decided it would be a great patch! Framed with orange ribbon.
