Macro Gromits
Many of you have probably seen the full size Gromits we have around Bristol, so I decided to approach it differently, armed with my Macro lens, I thought I'd share the detail in the Gromits

We were shocked to discover that one of Canobie Lake's mascots, Patches the teddy bear, was a doppelganger for Waldameer's mascot, Wally Bear. The two parks are not related, so I have to assume they bought mascots from the same mascot company.

I got this owl patch from Etsy. I had a hole in my sweater, and didn't know how to fix it. I figured it would be good to put a patch on it. This was patch was too big, but it was too cute to pass up. I got a different patch from my sweater, but I have this extra one for a bigger sweater hole in the future. Hehehe.
This Patch is from the National disaster morge team. They recover bodies and process them after a disaster.

This is the last photo I took of Patches. A little over a week after this photo she was put to sleep. She deteriorated very quickly. I'm cursed with cats as of late. She was only 9.
My daughter is still looking for her. They were good buddies. This clip shows the most aggressive moment in Patches' short lived relationship with Ella:

Terri Clavon, 3rd CAB command sergeant major, visited with Soldiers of Task Force Marauder at Fort Hood, Texas Sept. 18, 2017 to brief leaders as they prepare for the deployment and conduct a patch ceremony where TF Marauder members took on the 3rd Infantry Division patch. Task Force Marauder, which is aligned under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade for deployment, is composed of Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard, Pennsylvania National Guard, Illinois National Guard, and Iowa National Guard and provides aviation capabilities with AH-64 Apaches, UH-60 Black Hawks, and CH-47 Chinooks. Sunflowers are a favorite of mine, they are so pretty!!! I was so glad to be able to get a few pics of them at the pumpkin patch!
