I went looking for a fox to photograph and spent most of my time photographing a dragonfly, which I think is an Orange Meadowhawk.A small patch of plants with large, tooth-edged leaves seems to attract a wide variety of insects.
All taken within walking distance of Surmont Lodge.
The little wolf-like creature is the lodge manager's dog.
Three trees located on the edge of a path through woodland. The light patches on the tree bark, the three trees standing guard, and the mysterious darker reaches in the background made this catch my eye as I was walking past.
I took my son pumpkin picking for the first time, as he's only 10 months. It was a beautiful day! This was at Conklin Farm U-Pick, in Montville, NJ

I took a two day class in crazy patch embroidery August3, 2007 and have been addicted to this hobby ever since. Then I ran out of silk ribbon so ordered more from an ebay seller in Australia. I waited for the order for ages! Finally the package arrived with duplicate order as seller's computer had broken down. I still have LOTS of SRE to do, but realized my very first patch at CP is quite busy, my selecting too many pritned fabrics...oh well next project. I also made these squares too large. My next CP project HAS to be smaller.
The veg patch has been doing a good job of keeping up fed with lots of yummy veg. Our bricklayer brought some bricks to add to the rubble pile and I have just enough to finsih the edging to the raised beds
My daughter had some dresses which she had outgrown. The prints were so cute that I did not feel like giving them away. They were in my wardrobe for almost 6 months now.
I have started this patch work project now. No, no, no I have no deadline in mind.

With a treadmaster patch cut and glued in the last trace of the adult entertainment bus is gone. I will run over this patch and the other two with a sander to blend the repair in and get rid of the step. The new treadmaster is much thicker than the original and so needs a bit more work.

I camped near here in 2006 and I don't remember this water being there then. That was during the dry spell we had.

Pan Am POED rumbles through Orange with a pair of ever-common GE C40-8's. What keeps these units interesting is the mismatched patch jobs each unit receives to hide its former CSX letters and logos. 7542 is no different. Slowly they'll be brought in for a full corporate paint job like the trailing 7635.
