this is mike. mike has never been in a cabbage patch (under a full moon) , but if he does. this is what it'll look like.........enjoy!
So here is just a selection of the badges and patches I have made up over the past month. I really enjoy doing it, just thinking of new ways to incorporate them into other things I'm making.
I don't have a lot of toys left from when my daughters were little, except for Legos and some of their dolls. The Cabbage Patch Kids survived many closet cleanings, and I brought them out recently to entertain my 2 year old great niece when she visited. They are still sitting in the rocking chair, waiting to be played with.... The one on the right was named Coleta, but I don't remember the name of the other one. I bet my daughters do though :)
Lit by a pair of 580EXes: one high and slightly to the right on an umbrella, another way off right gelled warm and powered way down, both triggered by an ST-E2. And, of course, the shutter is dragged way out (4 seconds) to pick up the blinky lights.
I love these so much! They were a lot of fun to make, and it was my first time sewing on quilt-style binding!

patched the Girl's jeans by placing a bit of blue and yellow Liberty fabric from Joey under the jeans and randomly machine sewing it to the jeans. She's pleased ... says it looks like boxers! :-)
