This graph is of average number of hours worked (not including agriculture jobs). My presumption is that, if people were being move, en mass, to part time jobs, as a result of ObamaCare, it would shou up in is graph.

No matter where you are in the world, whether it be America or Japan money

always seems to be a key authority in people's lives. Now that I am very

independant and in a new country, more than ever money is really dictating

what I can and can’t do. It is a key factor in keeping me well aware of the

investment I made in schooling and that I must keep good grades. It keeps

me in a part time job and saving so that I can do things that really count

like traveling and seeing new cultures and peoples. I am learning more and

more that it is a key part of life and in order to keep on track you really

have to think about money.

More (very) old pic.

...I think it was the New Year's Day. I had a part-time job in a department store. The store was open on the New Year's Day!!! (Or... also possible it was the 2nd... I'm not sure now).

oh, Kym. is the one in red, btw.

So you understand how dedicated she is to her ball games, Rosie was nursing a litter of pups the day she played this game. She wanted to keep working at her part time job as Foreman of a local cattle ranch, also, but I convinced her to take a few weeks off, and give her pups a good start in life, but she's anxious now to wean the pups and get back to work. In case you haven't noticed, Rosie is a flaming feminist.

Ok guys, I'm totally back. I'm sorry to have left without a word or a note lol Life just got too hectic with the job and all I felt I had no time for pictures :( So I'm going to start from where I left off, even though there is obviously a big gap, I am ok with this and I hope you are too.

So what's been going on, well I actually lost the job I had gotten, hence now I have time again for pics.....it sucks, but the job was boring and run by young girls who don't know how to run a place so I'm ok with this. I actually got a part time job though at the Sears Portrait Studio and I'm overly excited about it because, well helloooooo, I love taking photos

Besides that, not a whole lot else going on. I'm still out there looking for another full time job, I'm sad about the White Sox being out of the playoffs, oh still going full force with the whole vegetarian thing, but the vegan thing....a little tricky lol

So that's me, what's going on with all of you??

Story Summary: Gabby Meza is a student at Montclair State University majoring in dance. From the age of three, Meza had the aspiration to become a professional dancer, but knew it would take a lot of hard work and dedication. Now a junior in college, Meza has “placed her foot in every doorway that has opened.” Meza works multiple days a week as a Zumba Instructor at the Recreation Center on campus all while balancing another part time job, dance rehearsals that last for hours and multiple classes. Meza barely has time to congregate with friends or barely eat a full meal some days. While it may be tough, Meza still manages to get up everyday and give it her all. Photos by Sekhena Sembenu

My buddy Al, who does a part-time job quite well as a event photographer. Strobist: 2 Calumet 750s with a 56" strip box on one and another with a 36" strip box used primarily as hair/fill light. I like how this one came out showing the detail and specular highlights on the camera.

last month was very busy with my regular part-time job so I had to skip March...did some drawings but posted only 2 here...

April was better ...those drawings were made within the last days...looking forward for Oxford in May and a meet up grid :)

I finally got to do something fun at the part-time job yesterday. I made an entire display of graffiti books on the art wall of the Barn! I'm a geek, but I loved it. I even created a mock stencil for the display. I hope people tag the wall ; )

Dudes, the iphone4 has a FLASH. Weird. I need to find out if it's possible to turn it off!

Went to the gym right after work and then came home. I've been hungry all day and I meant to make popcorn for a snack after dinner, but suddenly it was after 11. Harrumph, now I have to go to bed hungry. :(

But! This is the gym scale, reading 144. Not too shabby, since it's been over a week since I last went to the gym. Maybe it helped that I walked to and from book club (a good half hour each way, probably)(even though my knees were not happy about it later).

I really keep meaning to exercise more, but time is getting away from me.

And! Today I got another part-time job! It's an at-home, whenever you want kind of deal, so I should be able to stretch it out along the week. But for the next month and a half I will have three part-time jobs, so I hope I'll still find time to work out a little here and there, not to mention get sleep and have fun too. :)

Being a teen mom can range from one extreme to another. Some are so lucky to be able to support their baby with the help of their parents and friends. But some aren't so lucky and have to do everything themselves. Their lives are probably not enjoyable and they probably barely find any time for themselves. But the lucky ones should not take advantage of the opportunities that they have. If they have parents willing to pay for a majority of what alot of other people work hard for, then they should use that time for school and get a part time job. That way they can be able to support themselves on their own in the future and remain happy. There is no need for them to become lazy and do nothing with their lives if they don't have to do everything themselves. They should make the most of their lives because they are still very young and have so much potential for the future. Having a baby as a teen must be a very hard thing and very stressful, which is why everyone should always use protection if they are not planning on having a baby. This will save anyone from a lifetime of responsibility that they may not be ready for.

Secretary Landgraf joined individuals with disabilities, their parents and providers for a panel discussion on how to advance employment and post-secondary education for young people with disabilities at the state level as part of the annual conference of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).

During the Nov. 18 panel, Secretary Landgraf said transition work needs to begin as early as possible, and help to meet “the purpose and the promise” of the student and his or her family. The transition to employment or post-secondary education is crucial in breaking the cycle of poverty for so many individuals with disabilities, and she noted that many federal and state policies are coming into alignment on that front.

As for meeting expectations, Secretary Landgraf told the more than 300 people in attendance from across the country that it’s important for state officials to “listen and evolve with the person before you in order to fulfill their dreams.”

Joining on the panel were John Jr. and John III Bogasky. John III just got a job with the Smithsonian. “It’s a 10-year overnight success story,” his dad said. John III detailed the internships and part-time jobs he has had, leading up to this position. John Jr. said early education for parents is especially important in raising expectations and improving understanding about later success.

Josh is going to college with support from his mentor and case manager Andrew. “Andy is more than a mentor,” Josh said. “He is a friend.”

Ellie Carney just finished a position with an animal welfare group and expects to be hired. Her mom, Maedi Tanham Carney, said post-secondary programs are absolutely critical.

Stephanie Orlando, director of YOUTH POWER! at Families Together in Albany, N.Y., said her organization is seeing success with peers.
