Werner has told of this "room". I was fortunate to be able to see it in person. This is the original entrance of the Paramount Theater. Visitors of Asbury Park would enter the Theater from Ocean Avenue.

This was taken with my phone cam. I actually LIKE the flaws in this lens. That is pretty, pretty lens flare. I'm sure I'll eventually hate on it, but now I think it's neat.
Paramount Ranch is a famous western movie set in the Santa Monica Mountains, it's where they film HBO's Westworld and where Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was filmed in the 90's. The set (and surrounding area) was completely destroyed in the Woolsey Fire in November 2018.
The wreckage from the western town set is now surrounded by fencing, and there are plans to rebuild. This land is all owned and maintained by the National Park Service, and is considered part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
We like to hike around this area, and I have uploaded some pictures of Paramount Ranch I took in October 2018, the month before the fire for comparison.
