One of my favorite Oakland Landmarks.

The Paramount Theater opened on February 21, 1931, with a Carol Lombard movie Over the years it also featured live performances by such stars as Tex Ritter and Tommy Dorsey. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985
