This was the 40 inch? guillotine with air tables that assisted in moving heavy stacks of coated paper it was located in the lounge thanks to John Jack
Perhaps plain paper site would be more appropriate
The coating factory is in ruins in the foreground in front of me I can see the beaters
and towers area that held hundreds of gallons of pulp "furnish" that was brought down depending on the grade of paper being manufactured at the time.
Apologies for the poor light in these pictures but I have recently discussed this with John Jack former mill engineer every picture of Carrongrove papermill is now irreplacable at this point in time and it is better that we have a few more pictures than less
