We had a paper rep come in to speak to our graphic design class today. She gave us these swatch books to keep. They are SO pretty! I love paper :)

Today I came across these on my commute. By referring to the Database of Paper Planes I can see these are 'Basic Darts'.
Paper cranes are left at the memorials of the Nagasaki & Hiroshima bombs inspired by the memory of a little girl who hoped her radiation poisoning would go away if she could make 1000 cranes.
Went for a tour of a paper mill, and this is one of the stacks of paper. It is made from recycled clothing, they take clothing, make pulp and then make paper. This is pretty cool, just outside the town of Orcha in India.
Second attempt at paper piecing -- inspired by lucyellen06's bitty blocks here. I love those little gnomes! Mine and Lucinda's are both from a template here.
He's 3.5 inches square, just like Lucinda's. I want to add him in with my woodland bitty blocks -- I'm not in group 1, for which she made her gnomes.
This is my current stock of origami paper. Acyually, most of the star foldind strips and origami strawberries are used up...
but enjoy /o/ here is my personal paradise of craftdoom xD

Now I'm studyng a hell lot, so I can't craft anymore for the time being. Well, that's life. Hopefully, I will come with some newstuff on X'mas.
A design*sponge diy project from 2007. I actually bought the card stock for this last year, but didn't get around to making them until this year. This is about as crafty as I get.

Recycled paper chandelier made for a Woodend Artists ACE funded event in Aug 08. The artist ran workshops with local youth groups to make the origami cubes. These were then grouped into colour and suspended by fishing wire from a central frame.

Does everyone trace the design onto the back of the paper? I used vellum once which worked really well since you could see through it. I just wondered how others made sure they laid the fabric down in the right place and then on the other side, sewed it???
