There was a bit of a lot going on in the colour version that distracted from the geometry of this one so with the help of the computer the colour was made to take a back seat.
Stuck inside the apartment, so spent a few hours (9) putting this together. The maneki neko I made was much easier. This is about a foot tall.

After coating both sides of hand made silk paper with resin, I painted one of the dried surfaces with acyrilic paint and then gesso.
I then drew on this side with a fibre pen, and then machine embroidered on the reverse after adding a backing of calico. For a finishing touch I added acrylic ink to parts of the sketch.
Nothing special, but I think I can build on this technique
Crispy paper-thin prata with butter and sugar from the inside. It's served with mutton curry.
