Made using a 45x45cm square sheet of kraft paper. I have the skeletal look sorted but now I need to bring in the proper details to make it look more robotic.
Paper pieced trees made with textured cardstock, craft paper, corrugated cardboard, and fabulous Amy Butler patterned paper.
This is a shell that is very fragile. It is thin as paper and breaks very easyly. You find this shell in winter time after storms at the beach. Big ones - that are unbroken - are hard to find.

I make all of the papers by hand in Ottawa, Canada. Marbled papers are traditionally used as endpapers for bookbinding, but they have a wide range of other uses such as collage, origami, scrap-booking, greeting cards, framing, box-making, and other paper crafts.

This was also created for a photo challenge pertaining to the 2011 Emmy winning movie "The King's Speech".
Paper circles cut with my metal punches; the striped pattern paper is paste paper mounted on heavy watercolor paper.; largest circle about 3/4 in diameter. I dip each earring in Modge Podge matte or Minwax water-based Polycrylic (clear semi-gloss) before adding beads or ear post.
