The church of Hallgrimur, in Icelandic known as Hallgrimskirkja, is the tallest building in Iceland. My rendering, though simple, does, in my opinion, a good job of capturing the original church structure.
Glitter effect paper made with Photoshop CS5 using base colors similar to those in the Stampin’ Up color palette. The images are 9" by 9".

acne paper, each issue of Acne Paper is created around one key idea- a timeless that in various ways touches all those working in the creative fields regardless of age, cultural background or social status.
Here's one of the textures I used to decorate the house. I drew a checkerboard with pencil on paper first, scanned it, loaded it into PhotoShop, then I duplicated the layer, rotated it, and played with the transparency to get the bumpy 3-D effect.
One thing to note is that I didn't have all of these textures at the ready when I started. They came about as I worked. Whenever I needed something different, I just sat down an made it :)
