Day 4, October 2, 2013. The conduit is being directed to this area behind the garage where all of the electrical resides. Final wiring will be the last act of the installation. The box on the left is the original main circuit breaker for the house; the box to the right of it is the manual cut-off switch; the box to the right of the cut-off switch is a sub-panel to handle the power from the solar panels and the box on the extreme right is the inverter that converts the direct current (DC) from the solar panels to alternating current (AC) that is used by the house.
Inspired by a photo of flowers at the seaside in Lyme Regis! This panel is approx 140cm x 45cm and is backed with calico and hanging rods.
for the first few minutes, there were more panelists than audience members! it was looking a bit scary for a minute... hehe, lucky a few more people came but there was probably only 12 or 13 people there.
the first annual rock'n comic con was held at the pasadena convention center and to say that it was a rough start is being kind. they had all kinds of problems like only one person at the registration table (took me 45 mins just to get in which is bad considering that there weren't that many people who attended this con), the panels were practically empty (i'm pretty sure a few didn't happen due to no one attending), and overall just not enough people attended. add to the fact that the admission of this con is double what you pay at wondercon which is far and away a much better con, it makes things even worse. will have to seriously think before making the decision to attend next year. the only saving grace for me personally was seeing alison haislip of G4.

I don't know what it is, but having the mic in your face makes it scarier. Maybe it's fear of your mistakes being magnified.

Spent the day helping at a RPS Celebration of Images day at Crawley Down. I know my place and was in the kitchen doing refreshments and lunches. However, I did escape from time to time and this successful F panel of the Guggenheim Museum by Inaki Hernandez-Lasa was one of my favourites.
Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) carved decorative wall panels can be used in a wide range of interior applications. Panels are pressed fiberboard covered with six layers of high quality paint. Our standard size panel is 1220mm x 2440mm; although, we can custom make panels up to 118x78in. Thickness ranges from 15mm to 30mm, and price is based on panel size. Thinner panels can be used as a veneer to cover doors, tables, and counter tops. Thicker panels make great cabinets and cabinet doors. The panels are backed with melamine, allowing them to dampen sound and increase acoustic integrity. Try using them as wall covering! Use our wave or geometric designs, or get creative and create your own panels using a CAD drawing (please allow 8-12 weeks lead time for custom work). The panels are sturdy and durable, and for walls that are already straight, they can be hung using nails, screws, hooks, panel cleats, or even glue.

Just as it did before refurbishment and removal of the lever frame, in 2012 Elsham SB was still working AB to Wrawby Junction SB (left) and Appleby SB (right).
The block instruments and bells are incorporated into the panel, this photo shows an unusually quiet (at the time) moment with no trains "on the block" at all.
Elsham SB closed on Christmas Eve 2015 with control transferred to the North Lincs Workstation at York ROC, photos of which can be found later in this album.

Looking at these buttons from the elevator rider's perspective, they all appear the same.
Importance or usage frequency is not reflected by button size. One is colored red, which stops the elevator for servicing, which doesn't happen all that often.
I proposed reducing the number of non-floor buttons and making them unique.
The door closing panel laid up, will need to trim to suit the inner wing shape but wanted to use one mould for both sides instead of having 2 "handed" moulds and have make the recess larger than an original to allow more adjustment and also allow my large hands to get in there. I will fabricate a steel plate with 3-4 welded nuts on it then the hinge frame (yet to make) will bolt to this, I will slot the holes for adjustment, just hope I have got my measurements right!!
