Corporal Bryan Connors steadies a panel during the construction of an ACROW bridge in the small community of Trouty after the main bridge was destroyed in Hurricane Igor.
Operation LAMA (A) 02-10 is the Canadian Forces (CF) joint response led by Canada Command and conducted through Joint Task Force Atlantic (JTFA) to the devastation caused by Hurricane Igor to southern and eastern Newfoundland on 21 September 2010. The domestic humanitarian relief mission incorporated Canadian Forces land, maritime and air assets to deliver much needed assistance to isolated Newfoundland communities cut off by severe road damage.
More than 1,000 members from the Air, Land and Maritime components of the CF, in coordination with the Federal Government of Canada and the Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, are engaged in multiple tasks on Op LAMA (A) 02-10, including: delivering critical supplies such as food, water, medical supplies and fuel; providing medical evacuation; assisting in moving power crews and materials to repair power grids; delivering generators and re-supplying fuel to main communications nodes; assisting with bridging and road repair and transporting engineering analysis teams.

These panels are on the south side of a building, and they tilt to track the maximum light. Over-engineered German technology. This is near Schmid, coincidentally, where I've been working. They make solar panel manufacturing equipment.

The patterns of an illuminated and woven wall in a New York City Chinese restaurant
We had arrived in New York earlier this afternoon, taking the subway in to Manhattan from Kennedy to get to our hotel on Canal Street. The plan was to get settled there - where we would stay for the next week - and then meet up with family and friends and walk to the Chinatown district for dinner. Christmas Eve, New York City, meeting friends and family, Chinese food - what could be better?
We found the restaurant and some of our party were already there. In a city like New York I almost never go without a camera and, yes, I took one to dinner with me on this evening. Most of the photographs are of people in our group - and I won't likely post those here. But as we sat down, across the table was a very interesting wall - wide panels of some material that looked like very thin wood were woven together and lit from behind. I thought that the pattern might make an interesting photograph, so I made a single exposure... and went back to paying attention to the party!

Safeguard Symposium Ministerial Panel held at the Vienna Rathaus, Austria. 1 November 2022
At an event in connection to the Symposium on International Safeguards 2022 a high-level panel convened at the historic Vienna City Hall on 1 November 2022, hosted by the Mayor of Vienna and sponsored by the Nuclear Threat Initiative. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi was joined on the panel by HE Haavisto, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs; Ambassador Luis Javier Campuzano Piña, Resident Representative to the IAEA, Permanent Mission of the United Mexican States; Ambassador Susan Eckey, Resident Representative to the IAEA, Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Norway; and Mr. Geoffrey Shaw, Director General of the Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office. Norway received the first IAEA inspection in 1962; Mexico concluded the first safeguards agreement applied to all of a country’s nuclear activities in 1968; Finland brought into force the first CSA in connection with the Treaty on the non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) in 1972; and the first AP entered into force for Australia in 1997.

Last year I was asked to put together a number of interpretative panels for an exhibition entitled Pipe Organs of Chapels and Churches in the Bridgend area, Valleys and Vale. The panels were to measure 70cm x 50cm to fit into frames provided by the venue. The text was supplied by Peter J David, the curator of the exhibition who also provided many of the historic photographs of organs that do not survive and I provided some of the up-to-date images. Many hours of work went into putting these panels together and they were unveiled at the exhibition at the Open Doors event at Wesley Methodist Church, Tondu on Saturday 12th September 2015. In all there were twelve panels and I shall upload them all over the next few days. The exhibition will remain at the Church for one year and is available for viewing at normal church service or opening times or other times by appointment. The exhibition contains many artefacts associated with pipe organs and also features a number of small pedal organs. Photographs taken at the exhibition will be shown after I've uploaded all the panels.

I went to this panel that had Linda Ballantyne(Sailor moon),Susan Roman(Lita/Sailor Jupiter), and one of the Directors...I can't find his name. ^-^;
I wont lie, i only went cus i really wanted to meet Sailor moons voice actor. I gotta say she was so great i can't. She's the one in the middle. I took this short video because i couldn't get a good picture of them even tho she POSED RIGHT AT ME when i held up my camera but it came out way to blurry.
I remember that at the panel there was person cosplaying as Sailor moon, Chibi moon, Tuxedo mask, Mars and i think Jupiter. Linda pointed at sailor moon and said "your my fav" we all giggled xD
There was even a mini fight between the Sailor moon and chibi moon over who got to sit next to Tuxedo mask(Very legit just like the show) safe to say he sat between them xD
Linda even called the Chibi moon cosplayer a brat(all in good fun) xD
