This was the last photo taken on a trip to Nitinat lake on Vancouver Island with UBC windsurfers.
Packing up was augmented with beer and general helarity and therefore took a very long time. We brought an impressing amount of stuff with us.
We drove for an hour along a logging track to get there and had to take everything with us. The locals would sell you windsurfing spares, but we had to bring water!
The next morning, the kids having trounced on the option of sleeping in an extra hour, camp slowly gets packed up by headlamp under the bars of the celestial dawn.
Stage 2 of packing for Budapest - put stuff in suitcase and weld closed. Hope hotel has oxyacetylene to get it open again.

Even though I do ALL the packing around here, my extreme bitchiess and tendency to order him around a lot while doing so seems to exhaust Wes. Here you can see what happened when he, just for a moment, disobeyed me and took his new "Nap" airplane pillow out of its case. He then discovered its cute and extremely soft matching eyemask and there's not many things my honey loves more than a good eyemask. He decided to lay down on the floor and test it out and it was all I could do to make him get back to work.
Packing an order for delivery at Farvocolor. Farvocolor is a company that imports natural paint in the Netherlands and is a wholesale of Uula, Aquamarijn and Auro.

Packing, purging, and sorting the stuff (Read: junk) that we've gathered in 3 years in the shed. Most of those boxes are computer parts. Oye.

The picture of the orange could be called "sign painters art" or folk art. The red color is still in good condition, so it must havebeen repainted not too long ago. The roof was pealed back by a storm a while ago.
I got started with packing today, since I really don't have anything else to do. I see my boyfriend tomorrow, and then later on that night I'm headed back to NC.
Back to school, back to routine.
I'm really going to miss it here.
My advisor is moving at the end of the year and we are madly packing and finishing up a number of projects at the same time--not the least of which is me attempting to schedule a defense date within the month.
