Since there is no guarantee as to when the next prey will be caught, it is best to package food before consumption!
We're heading up for a week in Banff, AB, Canada starting tomorrow. So you can expect to see my photostream morph into landscapes for the duration.
I will most likely not have wifi for the majority of the trip so apoligizing in advance for my lack of daily posts. But you can bet I will be shooting.
Off we go!

White t-shirt, black jacket & jeans, for a 'casual' look?
It's 'all me', but you can see the outline of the scaffolding underneath that is needed to help achieve curves!
Snow Job Week is in full gear!
This version Snow Job gets a little dirty with that 2000's gritty paint wash. Initially I thought it was one of the various "Frostbite" releases that steals the Snow Job mold, but he's actually White Out ... a Snow Job knock-off minus the red beard.
I am going to be away for a few days over the weekend and have spent the last week packing and unpacking a number of times.
I think at long last I has my selection sorted
BASE jumping is the recreational sport of jumping from fixed objects, using a parachute to descend safely to the ground. "BASE" is an acronym that stands for four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump: buildings, antenna (referring to radio masts), spans (bridges), and earth (cliffs). Participants exit from a fixed object such as a cliff, and after an optional free-fall delay, deploy a parachute to slow their descent and land. A popular form of BASE jumping is wingsuit BASE jumping.
In contrast to other forms of parachuting, such as skydiving from air planes, BASE jumps are performed from fixed objects which are generally at much lower altitudes, and BASE jumpers only carry one parachute. BASE jumping is significantly more hazardous than other forms of parachuting, and is widely considered to be one of the most dangerous extreme sports.
After a 3 hour hike, 25 seconds free fall and 2 minute parachute drop there comes the task of parachute packing - a time consuming act that requires skill and care, after all your life will depend on you getting it done properly.
Pretty "ballsy" landing in the village square.
On Oct. 22, 1797 -- 216 years ago today -- in a Paris exhibition, Garnerin rose to a height of 3,200 feet, then made a dizzying descent to Earth by parachute and took his bows. Others had parachuted before Garnerin, but he's credited as the first to jump using a parachute without a rigid frame.

For the duration of the winter school holidays, Puffing Billy Railway are running the "Train of Lights" specials from Lakeside to Gembrook and return.
As there are no locomotive stabling and servicing facilities at Lakeside, NG/G16 129 - the specially-equipped steam loco that hauls the popular train - must depart from Belgrave earlier in the day before heading over to Lakeside and pick up the carriages. Once the train returns to Lakeside and the passengers have all departed for home, the NGG must return to Belgrave where the crew will clean out the ash, fill the water tanks, and ready it for the following evening's service.
This photo is the result of careful planning, lots of trial and error over a couple of nights on location, and the end result has been lit with four off-camera flashes triggered wirelessly using Canon's radio controller system.

Feel like I’m forgetting something…
Packing for the horse show is always a HUGE process. While some things you can survive without, others you can’t! Like fly spray! I have a blend I make myself out of a designer body oil to moisturize skin and condition hair, Juniper Berry oil and well water. It works great!
But all that aside…back to the check list.
Towels.
Brushes.
Extra Bits.
Back up bridle.
Spare girth…
And so, it starts... The team from Walkers Removals are here nice and early, on time as promised, to pack up the house... 11 years of memories into boxes.... A 'challenging' day ahead...

When packing for a trip, Gerda always includes her favorite snowflake panties.
Gerda Eternity is FINALLY out of her stock outfit! This blue outfit from Sunday's Very Best looks great on her, especially with her blue eyes. And as we all know, a Snow Queen needs snowflake panties! This is for the theme "Underwear Day" in the Blythe a Day group.
Packing is a necessary prelude to moving from one place to another. And it can be interesting photographically speaking... :)

ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti preparing SpaceX Dragon cargo capsule for a return to Earth. She shared these images to her social media on 17 August 2022 with the following caption:
Have we got everything? We spent countless hours packing return bags even before our cargo #Dragon arrived, & now it’s almost fully loaded! Including a lot of powered lockers (in the pic)… fridges, freezers, animal habitats.

...there has been so much more over the years done that isn't captured in a picture.I wish I had... Since I have this account, I 'll try to keep a file of all the gift wrapping I do, both for friends / family and the Etsy shop. Running this shop is to become more than just happy crafting hours...a more professional approach is what I wish/intent for and packaging is a very important part of it...
Here, are just a few picks of recently made packaging...
