as I was taking the ornaments off the cat tree up in the bedroom I was laying the ornaments on the bed.
Doug jumped up to supervise the process, chew on a few ornaments and knock things around a bit, but he quickly got bored and passed out in the middle of the pile.
LOL. I was watching some a.m. talk show the other day and the conversation was all about the proper time to take down your holiday ornaments.
I immediately felt defensive!!
People are SO judge-y! (okay....maybe if you still have your Christmas tree up in July, you've got a problem.)
I know people that are ripping their stuff down the day after Christmas. A lot of folks say it has to go by the first of the year.
Whatever works for you.
Me? I like to sit in it for a bit!
It takes time and work to put it all up.
I like to get my money's worth out of it.
I think one month, more or less from mid-December to mid-January will do me just fine!!
Suitcase packed but left behind at the long abandoned Villa H in Belgium. Peeling paint, rickety floors and the smell of damp everywhere.
I'm off to Iceland tomorrow, so have been debating over what LEGO to take with me. I'm only there two days but all the opportunities for photos must be considered!
Last year I unpacked a parcel and was surprised to see origami styled environmentally friendly paper packing used as an alternative to polystyrene. Makes for a more interesting photo also I thought!
Sam revealed to me last night that we're going to a vegan bed & breakfast in Maine for the weekend, as an early 4-year anniversary gift. :) BYE!

A much needed night of heavy rain and strong storms passed through Essex County and surrounding region last night. This cell was severe warned, and other cells in the same squall triggered tornado warnings by Environment Canada for the area as 3 distinct areas of strong rotation appeared on radar over Lake Erie and Pelee Island. Fortunately no confirmed tornadoes made landfall.

Danbo?
Yeah?
Um... you sure you're packing what you need?
Yeah!
Ah, ok then...
(The perils of Danbo living in a Blythe dolls' house)
Why burn down a house to kill a fly when you can fire a Mach 10 bolt of kinetic energy into it instead?
I watched CHAPPiE. I came home and built this. That's how inspiration works, right?
Abeni had a little struggle packing her suitcase for holiday, so I ended up doing it for her and asking her to choose an outfit to wear instead :) Thanks to all you lovely people who have made some clothes for her to wear. Mainly to Pei, Bailey and Spampy <3
I will be away from the 10th until the 17th! Abeni will be coming with me :)
Late picture again XD but we've been busy packing for our vacation! My new Usaggie arrived a few weeks ago and she's perfect to take on vacation since I don't have to worry about a wig :)
Angel is getting ready for the move! She's wrapping her tables and chairs in plastic to protect them :-)
Phew, almost missed posting one today, busy, busy, busy.
Have moved away from the shed for a while, but still within the confines of the garden.

“Traveling light is overrated. A girl needs her STUFF! Four or five suitcases ought to be enough for a two-week vacation.”

So much grass for such a little mouth.
14 days in the Azores, i tried to stick to the minimum and essential gear as possible, since a lot to trekking will be involved.
i just hope i took enough film.
Also, not in the picture, a film extractor for mid roll change ( since the f100 would reload all the film in the canister) and a changing bag for the IE films.
