At a first glance all looks normal in this shot. Look closer at the right hand side and you will see that the glacier is covered by a series of huge tarpaulins. The retreat of the Rhone Glacier over the last one hundred years has been startling and although it extends virtually as far as you can see in this view there is a real fear that it will disappear for good.

This Eastern chipmunk seems to be sniffing the Basil to see if it's acceptable for breakfast. I think there are two in the yard but they are very fast and secretive. They have even run across the patio while I sit outside but they don't stop for any admiration. Not as sharp and image as I’d like but the double paned windows are not clean.
Abandoned school on Stage Road, a half-mile from the historic Hat Creek Stagecoach Station, northeast of Lusk, Wyoming in Niobrara County.
I couldn’t find any information online about the school, but it must be old, with the water pump and the horse hitching post in the yard.
This was along one of the most dangerous parts of the Cheyenne-Deadwood stagecoach line, established when gold was discovered in the Black Hills in 1874. Highway robberies and attacks by Indians defending their land were common, and the Army established a small post nearby to protect miners traveling along the road.
After shooting the school, I saw some nice shots at the station, but unfortunately it started pouring rain.
I protect it because it's been broken before... if I give you they key, do you promise to look after it?

The Magnolia Trees bloom in the spring in the Smithsonian Castle's garden in Washington, DC. The Cherry Blossom trees, a gift from Japan, are also in bloom during this time of year.

So recently is was privileged to take part in a Mandalorian collab! For my part, I built for Chapter 2 of the show. My scene depicts the Mandalorian defending baby Yoda against two thugs which is the opening scene of chapter two in the show. I hope you all enjoy!
The Rothschild giraffe is an endangered species. All of those living in the wild are in protected areas in Kenya and Uganda.
We were able to play with this little lion cub at the Ukutula Conservation Center in South Africa. As adolescent cubs, they had sharp teeth and sharp claws when they pounced.

Today the conditions were very difficult for taking a good landscape picture. I had to use unusual parameters, that I would not normally use. Wide aperture, high iso, fast exposure. Because in every 2 seconds waves splashed over my head. There was no way to use my tripod. I had my back to the sea, protecting my camera and in between the waves I tried to snap some pictures as quickly as possible. The filters needed to be wiped after each wave. 15 minutes later my clothes were soaking wet and I had to get back to my car. But the exciting and interesting foreground forced me to try these desperate measures.
