This painting was done around 1994 I believe. It is a scene in Prospect Park, painted by the lake there, in Brooklyn, NY. It was done in late afternoon toward sunset. I retouched and enhanced it recently. I glazed and scumbled to achieve better values and color; richer intensity in the color.

Dwarf mongoose, Helogale parvula Animals at the zoo had skylights and these guys and the meerkats kept looking up at them and being weird. It wasn't even that windy out yet.
