Stopped off at Prospect on route to Peggy's...I can never pass the turning without going down there to snap one of my favourite and most familiar views.
Nearly three solid days of rain and fog showed us why a lighthouse was needed at the entrance to Prospect Harbor, Maine. The original lighthouse in a thriving fishing village was activated in 1850, but was replaced in 1891 with the current wood framed lighthouse. As most modern, working lighthouses, Prospect Harbor Light was automated in 1951.
Prospect Hill tower / park in Somerville MA is a great sunset view spot in the winter, since the sunset has migrated further south and most of the trees have lost their leaves. It should get even better for the next few weeks as the sunset moves further south till the solstices and the last of the fall foliage falls off.
(In the summer, it's just an ok sunset view spot - it's pleasant to be there, but much of the sunset ends up behind thick tree leaves.)
First film role with a Makina W67… great experience using this iconic camera. This building was designed and built by Frank Gehry. It’s situated next to the Battersea Power Station in London
Looking up at Prospect Place, designed by architect Frank Gehry. Opposite Battersea Power Station, London, England. 2022.

Just a little play on words..a 3 shot pano merge of the village of Prospect, near Halifax, on a calm September afternoon. We drove past this spot and the water was rough, but when we returned it was calm, so hubby patiently waited while I ran up the road and took "the same" shots all over again to get the reflections.
Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area, Rogue River, Prospect Oregon. This is the second of two waterfalls along the short Mill Creek hike. We had a little difficulty photographing here due to a constant misting rain, and the need to climb around some rock formations to get a decent view of the falls. While you don't get an opportunity to get close up to the falls this is still a great stop along the drive to Crater Lake from Medford.

Madagascar - Un travail sale et épuisant. Exploiter quelques lopins de terre serait sans doute plus rentable. Mais l'espoir -illusoire- de faire fortune, incite ces paysans à se reconvertir dans la prospection d’or.
Madagascar - Exhausting work. Continuing to exploit a few plots of land would undoubtedly be more profitable. But the illusory hope of making a fortune encourages these peasants to retrain in prospecting for gold.
