Prospect Tunnel is a 900 yd long tunnel through the Follifoot Ridge just outside Harrogate near the Crimple Viaduct. It was closed to rail use in 1964.

Fired this shot of myself remotely as I passed the camera. Post Processing done in Lightroom 3. Im not personally a fan of these gritty type shots, but i feel it works for this. The original was just too colourful.

Prospect v AFC Raven 21Nov10

The first victim of the Beeching Cuts and remains in good structural condition despite the many leaks.

Walkers got to know the friendly, historic neighborhood of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, situated on the “Lower East Side” of Prospect Park, perusing some beautiful brownstones, intersections of interest, community art projects and great green spaces that have made little Prospect-Lefferts Gardens a gem of a district for generations of residents and passers-by. Walkers also saw where a train went off the tracks in 1918, streets that are being re-imagined today and stately 19th century homes that still stand.
