Pip the Pinhead, or Aloysius Meyer, was one of many poor microcephalics used in the Freak show. Pip had a very low IQ and often wore dresses because he suffered from incontinence. Pip was lovable, yet dim.

This is my reproduction of the paper purse made for me by my 6 year old daughter. I was so impressed with her independent design that I decided to make a fabric version for her. Her design translated well to fabric. This version is made using a variety of fabrics from my collection, including a woodgrain print by Joel Dewberry which worked very well for the 'door' and handles. One of the doors is a pocket and there is another lined & divided pocket on the interior, as well as a magnetic clip closure.
