This is my reproduction of the paper purse made for me by my 6 year old daughter. I was so impressed with her independent design that I decided to make a fabric version for her. Her design translated well to fabric. This version is made using a variety of fabrics from my collection, including a woodgrain print by Joel Dewberry which worked very well for the 'door' and handles. One of the doors is a pocket and there is another lined & divided pocket on the interior, as well as a magnetic clip closure.

This is my kitten, Pip :P She was abandoned by her mother at birth, and we took her in and have had her since. :) She's about 4 weeks old in this photo. :P Sleepy kitty :D

Recently The Kid drug The Family to the Minnesota Children's Museum. She really enjoyed playing in the watery wonderland. Look closely and maybe you can see some bugs burrowing into her skin to cause the sickness she has had ever since. People seem to like pictures of The Kid. Give the people what they want, right?
