This is what happens when you gamble with the post office. Darvit. None of this has been exagerated. If anything, there's less that you can see when this isn't in your hands. Anything shiny was put together with lots of tape by the USPS.

Pip is SO brave. I put Maura (6 1/2 months) on the futon by him and he cautiously approached her for pets. She's still learning how to be gentle, so he'd had enough after just a couple of minutes. But still, I think that's really good! They're going to be friends one day...or she's going to be his worst nightmare...we'll see how it goes LOL!
We have heard peeps all nite - at 4:30 am Willow went on flyabout - this egglette looks like it has a PIP ! This is day 30-31
Hipster daughter planted a pip from an apple. Years later, it is well over six foot, and flowered for the first time :)

Pip and I headed up to Telemark (a x-country ski area in the Okanagan) to build a snow cave. There wasn't enough snow to build it, so while pip was digging out the cave, I shoveled snow on top of the cave. It collapsed on Pip during construction, so we gave up and slept on some pine bows. Later that night Josh showed up and rescued us with a tent. Overall: A great little adventure.
