Pier Ave. Pedestrian Walk
Hermosa Beach, CA

I'll bet the guy who owns this bicycle never loses sight of it no matter how many bikes are around. I love to photograph a scene "through" a parked bicycle, and if memory serves, the last time I visited the Pier in Hermosa Beach I caught some shots like this with a bike in the foreground.
This one stood out with it's bright orange color scheme!

5/52 Cromer Pier.
Taken just after sunset on a very quick (less than 30 minutes) trip to Cromer last Thursday. I don't normally travel this far but one of my images was in the WPOTY Exhibition in Norwich so I was in the area. My aim was to get to the groynes too but time was ticking on. It was quickly getting dark and I was in an unfamiliar place so decided that I was happy with what I had.

A Grade 1 listed building from 1869. After restoration, the pier was reopened in 1989.
No clouds all week during our vacation in Cayucos...but I will take a sunset without fog as we did have our fair share of it. I captured several different comps from this location and this was one of my faves. The LE helped bring out the pier reflections in the smooth waves. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!

Thank you for taking the time to view or comment on my Photostream, it is appreciated.
I managed to negotiate some photography time whilst my partner and son were riding on the steam train (I'd already done my stint the day before, lol)
I originally thought I'd only be able to take some reference photos due to poor weather and lighting, but while chatting merrily away to a fellow photographer, the clouds began to clear and the sun broke through, casting some light onto the pier.
I'm making more effort to get out with my camera and trying harder for sunrises and sunsets as I need more in my portfolio.
Last night I went down to Eastbourne Pier with my daughter to catch the sunset, it wasn't amazing but once again pleased with some of the pictures I took.
