De mooie pier van deze Zuid-Engelse badplaats tijdens het blauwe uurtje.
The beautiful pier of this southern English coast town during blue hour.
5/52 Cromer Pier.
Taken just after sunset on a very quick (less than 30 minutes) trip to Cromer last Thursday. I don't normally travel this far but one of my images was in the WPOTY Exhibition in Norwich so I was in the area. My aim was to get to the groynes too but time was ticking on. It was quickly getting dark and I was in an unfamiliar place so decided that I was happy with what I had.

This is one of my favourite photos from last year that I never got around to posting. I did post a monochrome version but, unusually for me, I equally like this colour one.
Sunset, Lake Sidney Lanier - Hall County, Georgia.
The pier at Warhill Park reflects off the surface of a calm Lake Lanier on a late winter morning.

A winter morning at Clevedon Pier
A Grade 1 listed building from 1869. After restoration, the pier was reopened in 1989.
1866 West Pier. Peak attendance of 2M people right after WWI. It was closed in 1975 and burned down in 2003. This what is left of it. A new attraction on the boulevard around the same spot is the British Airways i360: www.flickr.com/photos/g-rtm/49667452047
Out on Worthing Pier tonight in the rain , i could not decide which photo to post so i have posted three
No clouds all week during our vacation in Cayucos...but I will take a sunset without fog as we did have our fair share of it. I captured several different comps from this location and this was one of my faves. The LE helped bring out the pier reflections in the smooth waves. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare is a pleasure pier on the Bristol Channel approximately 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Bristol.

Thank you for taking the time to view or comment on my Photostream, it is appreciated.
I managed to negotiate some photography time whilst my partner and son were riding on the steam train (I'd already done my stint the day before, lol)
I originally thought I'd only be able to take some reference photos due to poor weather and lighting, but while chatting merrily away to a fellow photographer, the clouds began to clear and the sun broke through, casting some light onto the pier.
Revisited this location after 8 years: back then I used a 2nd hand Canon 350D, no nd filter, cheap tripod, and not a lot of knowledge. I was very proud of the result, but looking back and comparing the results, I'm more proud about the difference!

Taken yesterday evening at Mumbles - the old pier is in the process of being upgraded and the old lifeboat house has now been replaced by a very modern and beauitful station at the end of the pier.
Iconic view of Toronto skyline from Polson Pier. Long exposure, just after a dramatic cloudy sunset.

Another from wednesday's mid week ramble with a bunch of my fellow North East togs. A great time was had by all...
This one is from a bit earlier in the night (hence the slightly warmer tones) using the lovely glistening wet sand to pick up on the colours. Just needed a conveniently placed pedestrian really, but there wasn't one around!
Little bit of perspective adjustment done in Photoshop to deal with the lopsided lampposts the Sigma 10-20mm causes when shooting anything towards the edge of frame. Other than that, pretty much as shot.
