Carolina Piedmont Railroad switches out their Laurens, SC yard which also serves as the interchange with CSX. Carolina Piedmont operates a former CSX (previously Seaboard Coast Line and before that Atlantic Coast Line) line that was spun off in 1990. It began as a RailTex operation until that company merged with RailAmerica. RA was later bought out by Gennesse & Wyoming.

Alba - Piedmont - Italy - Cuneo - wine production

Alba is een stad en gemeente in het zuiden van de Italiaanse regio Piëmont, in de provincie Cuneo. Het centrum van Alba wordt gedomineerd door vijf 14e-eeuwse torens; enkele behoorden ooit toe aan de nobele families van de stad. Andere bezienswaardigheden in de stad zijn de bakstenen kathedraal uit de 15e eeuw, de 13de-eeuwse kerk San Domenico en het recentelijk gerestaureerde Palazzo Comunale.

Alba is bekend om haar witte truffels. Ieder jaar wordt er in de stad een truffelbeurs gehouden. In de stad is ook het hoofdkantoor van Ferrero gevestigd, bekend van producten als Nutella, Mon Chéri en Ferrero Rocher.

Originally delivered to Air Canada on September 27, 1979. Donated to Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum by Federal Express where is was N265FE. It was painted to resemble the "Tampa Bay Pacemaker" 727 of Piedmont Airlines. Florida Air Museum. LAL. 7-25-2020.
