This bodice was made with fabric I purchased when in Italy. I saw it the pattern and had to make it.
The Bodice is an upper garment which was common in Europe during the 16th to the 18th century. The term comes from "pair of bodies" because the garment was originally made in two pieces (in our case three) that fastened together, frequently by lacing. Bodices lace up the sides, across the shoulders, and up the front for full adjustment. The boning in the front and sides are light but strong. Solid brass grommets are used throughout. All bodices are constructed in brocade, chenille, and jacquard fabrics.

I’ve been a long time digital artists, working almost exclusively in photoshop to create my art. It’s interesting how life can change though, migraines and other chronic illness problems have made sitting at a computer and looking a screens difficult. I’ve much preferred traditional medias of late, and feel a great adversity has also allowed me to explore some other parts of myself.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I believe what you see here is a combination of my childhood doll's outfit and her replacement I got at the Salvation Army in 2012. I believe that the doll from the Salvation Army was still donning parts of her original outfit. I think she even had sunglasses tabbed down to her head. The purse, bracelet, and shoes were without a doubt my childhood gal's. It's hard to find little accessories to secondhand dolls unless you get them in a lot. I purchased my second Fashion Photo gal by herself, in a bag with Mystery Squad Barbie. So there was no way I'd have owned these tinier accessories if I hadn't already bought the same doll as a kid. I believe the shrug and removable bottoms shown here also belonged to my original doll. The long pants that converted into capris were a very common style in the early 2000s. It made doll outfits that much more versatile. Although, truth be told I always found this outfit to be tacky. The halter top and skirt were an appealing print. But I thought the metallic pink bottoms were super gaudy. These are the sorts of pieces I would have exclusively used on a "villain" in our doll games. In fact, I have a vague memory of utilizing the pants and shrug on some of our bad guys.
Showing some love for Andor! I adore this ship design, it's fancy and classy, fits right into the universe. The wings can be posed, and there's a removable turret and landing gear as well. Though the interior supports figures, the build is not minifig scaled.

This one was tough! I probably will have to do more work on it to be satisfied, or even scratch the whole thing and start over, but I an really having fun doing these age regression pieces! Not being a great artist, it's been a challenge.
This is the second photo of my great grandmother that I have done. I think the first one was probably more accurate, but I liked the shot of her so much that I decided to give it a go, anyway. I am not pleased with the face shaping, or the eyes, but I thought the mouth and nose came out well.
There are only about three photos of my Great Grandmother that I know of in existence, and I have them. It means a lot to me to be able to transform the old woman into her younger self. The only thing I have to go on is her own face shape and bone structure and the knowledge of what my mother, grandmother, and great aunt looked like. That is how I have been feeling my way through this work. In an attempt to retrieve the family resemblance that is nearly lost in an elderly face, I pretty much have to go with my gut. I sure wish I had just one photo of her when she was younger!
I'm going to see if I can do this with my other relatives' photos, and see if the final results look like them. Then I will know I'm on the right track. Since I can do it on my own, even though I don't look as nearly as old as Granny did, I think I'll get more accurate as I go along.
My life is about to become very much medical pieces again. On the 13th I will have a craniotomy surgery. They will be removing the swollen tissue that I have had problems with for 10 months as the steroids are not helping it. Hopefullly, it will help my balance as well as make me more comfortable. It might work and it might not. Please pray that God will heal me.
Our Daily Challenge: Scattered. Wonder what this will be? Hmmmm. We always do puzzles this time of year. Hubby bought a pack of 10 from 500-1000 pieces. And daughter bought one Christmas one for me, and she also got her dad an Angry Birds puzzle. Yikes! Puzzle overload!
These pieces are very heavy and very stable. You have to work to tip them over. Many of them make a jingling sound !! You can mix and match parts and get as creative as you want. Your hardware store may contain many more parts than mine did. Note that some of the nuts will have a fine thread. These will only thread a little bit onto the coarse threaded rod before they jam. That 's okay if those pieces are use for the tops, as in the bishop.
I was making this when I heard my English teacher, Mrs Killeen had passed. Anyone who talked to her for more than 5 minutes would realize what an amazing person she was. And so a lot of people are in mourning. graphite 18×13
'From the moment that we met
My world was turned around
Upside down
To some degree I still regret
My memory for keeping you around
Girl I thought that you were mine
But my broken hearts been shattered
One too many times
And I don't want to see you anymore
I'm just not that strong
I love it when you're here,
But I'm better when you're gone
I'm certain that I've given and oh how you can take
There's no use in you looking
There's nothing left for you to break
Baby please release me
Let my heart rest in pieces
Someone let you down again
So you turn to me
Your convenient friend
Oh but I know what you're doing
And what you hope to find
I've seen it a thousand times
Oh the fire we had before
Are now just bitter ashes
Left scattered on the floor...'

Pieces of sulfur are carried out in baskets by the miners. The loads range around 75 kilograms and must be carried to the crater rim 200 meters above before being carried 3 kilometers down the mountain, moslyt twice a day. The miners are paid by the weight of sulfur transported, per kilogram 0.06 US$ in 2010. The miners use insufficient protection while working around the volcano and are susceptible to numerous respiratory complaints.
