Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily. And the theme at Smile on Saturday is carved art pieces. I wish I could tell that I’m very good at carving stuff but unfortunately this not the case. I have no carving talent what os ever… I tried to carve something out of soap once and I almost lost 3 fingers… I’m very clumsy and the situation gets even worst when I manipulate sharp objects…
So for today’s picture we have a small wooden elephant and an exemple of my carving talent. I carved this pencil with my initials (I tried to make a heart but it was way more difficult, so I sticked to straight lines …) all by myself !! The elephant is part of my personal collection of elephants. And if I remember right, it was a gift from my aunt. He is very stubborn and he like to push on things with his trunk… Also he is a drinker so dont let him near your drink or it will disappear in no time ! But other than that he is very smart and funny. He was carved from a very hard wood, which makes him almost unbreakable… After all, he survived in my house for so many years....
I wish you all a beautiful day !! See you later my friends !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
As we all know by now, it is autumn. I have a love/hate relationship with autumn and I think that I’m not alone. On one hand, autumn is beautiful… especially on hot and sunny days… On the other hand, autumn is very sad and depressing… especially when you realize that winter will be with us very, very soon after autumn.
I must admit that autumn is one of my favorite season for pictures. I can walk for hours and take pictures of everything… Like this tiny bench under the lamp post.
Since my « photo studio » (aka our old coffee table) isn’t quite set yet for coffee table photography, I decided to show you a few of my autumnal pictures.
And lets make it fun. Today you see the « almost » (yes, some parts of this picture were edited…I will not lie !) original version of my picture but tomorrow I will publish another version of this tiny bench. I hope to see you all tomorrow : same hour, same photo stream ! New picture ;-) à la @Magda627 style !
Have a beautiful day ! Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!

I really hope you like this, been wanting to do this format for a while.
This picture was taken @ Mimmo.
Just like my example Ted, I try to make a puzzle, but all those little pieces drive me crazy. Looking at it already gives me a headache. I keep looking at it for another 10 minutes and then it disappears in the trash. I admire you for the patience you have Ted for all those puzzles.
Bear greetings from Mister Paul!
ODC: Many pieces

Thanks so much for all the support! I really do appreciate it! 😊
I used to find jigsaws so difficult to complete before someone suggested that I turn the pieces over and use the picture on the other side!

board game pieces, done for Macro Mondays
yes, I know there are so many Monopoly cars posted,
but it's my favorite piece, I always choose it as my token,
and the map of DC, because I love that city, lived there
for about 10 years!
all within measurement rules , happy to be participating.
have a great day my friends, and HMM!
