Took this picture at Vermillion Lake in Banff National Park and this was the only day we had some sunshine. Didn't make too many pictures because of that, but had a wonderful time. The weather was quite mild and Lake Louise was the only place with quite a bit of snow for the rest there was only little bit of snow.

Friday 20th; If you missed the sunset tonight ... you missed a blinder!
Saturday 21st; Probably the closest anyone in Ireland will get to a Summer Solstice Sunset or Sunrise this year. It started raining some hours after this shot was taken ... its 9pm Sat 21st and its hardly stopped raining since, in fact theres a hell of a thunder and lightning storm over Boyle at the moment. Im off to bed.

it was during one of those late morning walks when i saw this single blade of grass, gently swaying in the breeze, in the middle of a bokehed world. i stopped and watched. and for one brief moment, i saw it nod and smile at me.

hello, everybody. just popping in to let you know i am still here, even if barely. arrived in Manila last Sunday and now enjoying the company of Arnel, aka lenareh and his family. i hope you all are keeping well. i won't be able to visit your streams at the moment as i don't have much time to be online. in fact, i must sign off now to prepare for the next leg of my visit. on to Daet, Camarines Norte, scene of this jump shot.

Captured at Vandaloor, I am still wondering how I spotted this guy, he was so fast and so deceptive he moves an inch and you won't be able to spot him that easily. My camera was crying to get the focus right and my meter almost failed every other time and the exposure was my biggest challenge, but still I know this shot is worth all the troubles that we went through. Hope you all agree with me, I dedicate this shot to my friend Surendar @ Chittappa who is celebrating his birthday today, happy birthday chittappa. Thanks for all your comments and fav

I have literally hundreds of hummingbird images as well as hundreds of flower images. In an effort to try to utilize some of the archived photos taking up my harddrive, I thought I'd try to combine the two.
Through the texture and layer process I used two photos and one texture as shown below.

This one is from my archives, its from my hometown. This is my 93rd public photo in flickr, so thought till 100 I will post something which are so close to my heart, not only as photograph but also on the emotional quotient. This is where I was born, this place knows me in and out, its like my mother, it has given me everything. In other words just hoping to visit this place once in a year I work through the whole year. Hope you have one such place too...
