when i downloaded this image from my camera i knew instantly that i needed to convert it to black & white with just a bit of tint. to me i can better appreciate this flower's beautiful form, its graceful lines and subtle textures, without the distraction of colors.

Captured at Vandaloor, I am still wondering how I spotted this guy, he was so fast and so deceptive he moves an inch and you won't be able to spot him that easily. My camera was crying to get the focus right and my meter almost failed every other time and the exposure was my biggest challenge, but still I know this shot is worth all the troubles that we went through. Questa struttura mineraria contribuì in maniera determinante alla sostituzione della trazione animale .La galleria Henry realizzata ed adibita a questo scopo, fù per l'epoca, dal punto di vista dimensionale, un'opera che trovava pochissimi riscontri a livello nazionale. I miglioramenti tecnologici necessari per far fronte ai crescenti costi di estrazione, fecero si che nel giro di pochi anni, fossero costruite tre laverie delle quali la più importante progettata dall'Ing. Luigi Sanna, denominata "Malfidano" (1888-1890), sulla spiaggia di Buggerru.

Esto es lo que captas con el 18mm sino haces una panorámica, aunque bueno, me gusta la toma y el resultado después de procesarla también.
Aquí os dejo otra serie de Torrelobatón y ya hasta el lunes nada, que me voy de "excursión" por más pueblos :) que lo paséis bien este finde.
Las fotos que cuelgo posteriormente las podéis ver en grande pinchando en "View On Black".
On my first unaided walk on Sunday I noticed these bud emrging from I am not sure whether a Maple or a Birch tree. These are very small maybe two inches in diameter so shot up close with the 50mm this is what I got.
