I'm sorry I know this is bad, it would have looked so much cooler with an antique black umbrella, but the only ones we had were striped, yellow and bright red flowers! Also, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I had one I was going to post a couple weeks ago but my mom forbid it, it was just from my shoulders up and I had been wearing a cami but I pulled the straps down so you could see my bear shoulders. oooh so bad! No not really, it was kind of like an Eve thing like in Adam and Eve, I liked it.

Today was one of the hottest days this summer, the homeless in Ueno park were served cool orange iced drinks. This was part of my day hoping Second Day Harvest. I was in charge of Servering the Pasta and Bowls as well. I was so busy that I didnt take too many shots. i was very suprised to see so many homless from so many age groups. This shot was taken only after the Pasta ran out.

This farm was set up by the NGO to teach organic farming principles to farmers from Burma, many of whom have lost traditional farming knowlege due to strong state control of crops, fertilizers and pesticides.
NEED-Burma is the Network for Environment and Economic Development, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that operates out of its head office in Chiang Mai, Thailand. NEED has been in operation since March of 2006. They are an inclusive network that is non-ethnic specific, with the mission: to work towards strengthening Burmese civil society so that all the people of Burma may benefit from the practice of endogenous and holistic development strategies, based on economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable ideas.

Estas representaciones son una especie de Autos Sacramentales denominados “Entremesos” o “Misteris” que se suponen escritos en el siglo XV y principios del XVI. Las Rocas se guardan celosamente el resto del año en el casa de las rocas siendo una nave altísima del siglo XV, muy próxima a las Torres de Serrano y que puede ser visitada.

Boy was I glad I chose to register with the School of Natural Healing for the program! With the correspondence course, all the course materials would have been mailed to me after registration and I would have been mailing my course work back and forth as I complete each of them, that looks like a lot of headache to me. On the other hand, the online Family Herbalist course is a lot less stressful and it suit me all the way to the ground.
The training website is so well designed and works so well in delivering such a memorable training experience to the registered students that if its possible, you would have found me sleeping on their front page everyday. It features all the natural healing training programs offered by the school but each student has access only to the particular program they are registered to do. The programs start from Level 100 - Family Herbalist, which is a compulsory program for everybody, even those who wish to go onto more advanced training programs later.
Even if you don't go on to become a Master Herbalist, my experience with the Family Herbalist course is that its so amazingly comprehensive that I found myself dealing with all diseases and ailments of my family and friends like a seasoned holistic practitioner even before I completed the program! What I learned on the program is indeed an eye-opener.

By the time I completed my program, I was busy coming up with my very own herbal formulas! De lengte is ongeveer 13 tot 15 millimeter, kleinere exemplaren komen ook voor, de kleur is grijszwart. Op het borststuk zitten enkele lichtere lengtestrepen, op het achterlijf is een patroon van afwisselende lichte vlekken zichtbaar, waaraan de naam dambordvlieg te danken is. Het borststuk is erg breed evenals de uiteinden van de poten. De ogen zijn groot, rond en opvallend rood gekleurd.
Algemeen
In tegenstelling tot de meeste vliegen is de soort eierlevendbarend, er worden wel eitjes geproduceerd, maar deze komen in het vrouwtje al uit. Dit heeft als voordeel dat de larven meteen kunnen beginnen met eten. De larven worden afgezet op aas of vers vlees waarin ze zich verder ontwikkelen. Lange tijd werd gedacht dat ze vlees of aas als voedsel hadden, vandaar de naam vleesvlieg, maar de larven jagen op andere, aas-etende larven en zijn dus carnivoor.
De dambordvlieg is niet gebonden aan een habitat; als er voedsel is voor de larven (karkassen) kan de vlieg zich handhaven. De volwassen vlieg leeft van nectar en bezoekt bloemen maar zuigt ook aan uitwerpselen.
