I was not sure I wanted to share this one, a very personal photo which I still find moving after several months. A pivotal phone call came in just after taking this photo. It turned out to be pivotal in a good sense but this did not become clear for a couple of months. Life's rich tapestry etc. Funny how photos can mean very different things to the photographer and the viewer, there's nothing in this scene at all to indicate a real "situation" was in play. Everything is thankfully sorted out now, better than could be hoped for when I took this shot. Taken 19th April 2022, on a short walk in Ufford around 9:40 am.
The dry tractor tracks and the remains of the blossom on the trees caught my eye.

Imagen capturada en el interior abovedado del salón-recibidor ubicado trás la entrada principal al Palacio de Cibeles (Plaza de Cibeles-Madrid) antiguo Palacio de las Comunicaciones. En este salón se gestinaba toda la documentación, recogida y entrega de correo postal y paquetería, así como mensajería telegráfica y giros postales...Un habitáculo de grandes dimensiones que siempre estaba lleno de gente...Hoy en dia, después del declive del correo postal y todo lo relacionado con este medio, a comienzos del siglo XXI se incorporó al patrimonio municipal y se convirtió en centro cultural y sede del Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
El antiguo Palacio de las Comunicaciones, con 12.000 metros cuadrados y 70 metros de altura, llegó a ser el edificio de correos más grande del mundo, superando los 4.000 metros cuadrados de la oficina de Chicago.

Image captured in the vaulted interior of the main room located behind the main entrance to the Palacio de Cibeles (Plaza de Cibeles-Madrid), former Palacio de las Comunicaciones. In this room all the documentation, collection and delivery of postal mail and parcels, as well as telegraphic messaging and money orders were managed ... A large room that was always full of people ... Today, after the decline of the Postal mail and everything related to this medium, at the beginning of the 21st century it was incorporated into the municipal heritage and became a cultural center and headquarters of the Madrid City Council.
The old Palacio de las Comunicaciones, with 12,000 square meters and 70 meters high, It became the largest post office building in the world, surpassing the 4,000 square meters of the Chicago office.

The wine-growing community of Trittenheim (Leiwen in the background) can be seen from a different perspective than usual. The vineyards on the Moselle are currently shining in the most beautiful autumn colors when the sun shines.
Die Weinbaugemeinde Trittenheim (im Hintergrund Leiwen) mal aus einem anderen Blickwinkel als sonst üblicherweise zu sehen. Aktuell leuchten die Weinberge an der Mosel bei Sonnenschein in den schönsten Herbstfarben.

Photo : Le petit village de Orbaneja del Castillo, au nord de la province de Burgos en Espagne. Un village étonnant où, en plein milieu coule une cascade spectaculaire ouvrant une superbe vue sur les étoiles.

Foto : Orbaneja del Castillo, en el norte de Burgos, a cuyos pies discurre el Ebro más juguetón. Si entras en el pueblo por el este, te recibe con una fenomenal cascada que lo parte en trozos casi iguales y lo inunda de música risueña.
