A pesar de que se puede hablar del páramo en toda su extensión, su diversidad es notable. Posiblemente la imagen más común de un páramo es la de un pajonal salpicado de especies arbustivas, lagunas y pantanos, con grandes nevados en el fondo. Pero el páramo de pajonal no es el único.
Las plantas de los páramos presentan una serie de adaptaciones que les permiten sobrevivir en un ambiente bastante hostil. Muchas tienen pelos que guardan el calor y hojas duras que evitan que se pierda agua por evapotranspiración. En general son especímenes achaparrados para protegerse del frío y el viento, aunque los frailejones (Espeletia y géneros afines) y las achupallas (Puya), a más de algunas especies de árboles, pueden alcanzar varios metros de alto. En algunos casos las adaptaciones pueden ser muy sofisticadas; en otros están prácticamente ausentes y estas especies deben aprovechar los microclimas generados por el resto de la vegetación.

De Moerputtenbrug, ook wel Moerputtenspoorbrug genoemd. (bij ‘s-Hertogenbosch) Het was een spoorbrug over de veenplas Lange Putten in het latere natuurgebied Moerputten. De brug was onderdeel van de Langstraatspoorlijn. Tegenwoordig is het een voetgangersbrug die deel uitmaakt van het Halvezolenpad.

Huis Ruurlo is een kasteel en landgoed in de gemeente Berkelland, zuidelijk gelegen van het dorp Ruurlo, in de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland. Het is onderdeel van een sinds 2010 geregistreerd rijksbeschermd complex Historische Buitenplaats.

Huis Ruurlo is a castle and estate in the municipality of Berkelland, located to the south of the village of Ruurlo, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is part of a government-protected Historical Buitenplaats complex, registered since 2010.

La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències en valenciano y oficialmente) es un conjunto arquitectónico dedicado a la cultura y el ocio ubicado en la ciudad de Valencia (Comunidad Valenciana - España) El complejo se inauguró el 9 de junio de 1998 con la inauguración de "El Hemisférico" uno de los edificios del complejo.
Este conjunto arquitectónico fue diseñado por los arquitectos Santiago Calatrava y Félix Candela, junto con los ingenieros autores del diseño estructural de las cubiertas de "L'Oceanografic" Alberto Domingo y Carlos Lázaro.
En mi imagen, una vista del "Museu de les Ciències" capturada con una exposición de 15 segundos, para un diafragma f/16 y una sensibilidad ISO 64. El reflejo es natural sobre una laguna artificial frente a la arquitectura.
The City of Arts and Sciences (Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in Valencian and officially) is an architectural complex dedicated to culture and entertainment located in the city of Valencia (Valencian Community - Spain) The complex opened on 9 June 1998 with the opening of "El Hemisférico" one of the buildings in the complex.
This complex was designed by the architects Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, together with the engineers who were the authors of the structural design of the roofs of the "L'Oceanografic" Alberto Domingo and Carlos Lázaro.
