PATCHES is a small-size, compact, VERY cute Hound/Pit mix who’s just under one year old. She’s cute, perky, outgoing and very playful – she likes to chase a ball, loves her toys, and gets along with other dogs. Since she’s very attentive for food treats, she should be a great little dog to train. Patches will be fun family pet.

158744 catches what seemed like a lucky patch of sun near Edale. A few seconds later, when it was closer to me, nearly the whole scene was lit!
In the 2007 $30 WRC we used duct tape to patch the boat, and it turned out not to be very waterproof. This time I decided to try Gorilla Tape. It's super sticky, but turned out to be even less waterproof than the duct tape. By the time we realized that the tape wasn't going to cut it we were out on the river and our ride was long gone. We wound up tearing strips of foam off of our awesome seat cushions and stuffing it into the crack. We still had to bail all day long, but it slowed the flow to a manageable rate.
The Western Patch-Nosed snake, Salvadora hexalepis. One of the many non-venemous snakes in the area, it feeds upon lizards, snakes, reptile eggs, and small rodents.
So! I finally got half a braincell scraped together enough to remember to take in-progress photos of my current big ass project.
What are these? There are various panels of denim, namely the ones that needed patching, cannibalized from 5 pairs of tatty old jeans from the stockpile I've got in the basement.
Patched with chunks cut from trimming down pieces that didn't have holes, and sewn with whatever threads I felt like using on the machine.
why are they 16 inches long though? Well, they're going to become part of a recycled denim kimono. I've got enough for the 2 migoro panels already, there's just the Okumi, sode, and eri left to contend with..and the lining ofcourse.

Sometimes I feel like I don't belong on this planet. Actually, many times and for many reasons, and I'm sure you too. Patches is an Australian Shepherd that greets most visitors to the hostel and country store at Neel Gap, which is part of Blood Mountain, the highest peak on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail and the sixth-tallest mountain in Georgia. We enjoyed a nice picnic lunch behind the store, before hiking to the top of Blood Mountain, and Patches kept us company, happy to clean up any food that didn't hit our mouths.
