A cardboard likeness of Robin Williams as Patch Adams participating as a member of JuRaPaJu at Livestock 2010.
Patched Himself's favorite pair of carpenter jeans. Used a bit of striped cotton to patch the coin pocket and the leg.
PATCHES is a small-size, compact, VERY cute Hound/Pit mix who’s just under one year old. She’s cute, perky, outgoing and very playful – she likes to chase a ball, loves her toys, and gets along with other dogs. Since she’s very attentive for food treats, she should be a great little dog to train. Patches will be fun family pet.
Jesus rides!
In a lucky none-rainy patch of sky, we pedaled as bunnies on bikes once again. Bunnies converged from all over Portland by the Vera Katz Statue on the East Esplanade by Hawthorne Bridge. This Bunny started with team North at Peninsula Park after Bunny Bowling three games at Interstate Lanes (all games scoring over 100). At the Waterfront all the N, NE, SE, SW, NW and even Washingtonian bunnies greeted each other for one big parade. Even Vera had bunny ears on! Then North through Lloyd District we rode to a secret park location. As the first year NOT as organizer, this Bunny couldn’t wait to be surprised just like everyone else on where the ride would end up. She was so giddy she could barely stand it, a smile wide across her face. But then, the secret location turned out to be the Irving Park covered court, the exact same location the bunny ride converged to last year. The Bunny Ride has always been new and different each year, and she knew she told the new organizer this. But this Bunny was no longer in charge, and now was grumpy, and wasn’t in the mood to potluck or look for eggs. So she pedaled over to Two Plums Park a few blocks away, tucked away into a tree, painted pictures and was instantly much happier. A few bunny friends followed after the potluck and the bunny crew climbed trees, swung on the swings, blew bubbles, and slid down the slide. Then a post bunny drinking fest ensued all afternoon inside the Bye & Bye, safe from the pissing rain. At last it was time to go too, Bunny Karaoke? Well, unfortunately these bunnies couldn’t find any that didn’t start past the Bunnies bedtime.
This weekend we took the kids to the pumpkin patch at the Orr Family Farm in Oklahoma City where we spent the day with some good friends. The farm is the pinnacle of home grown "agritainment" which really typifies life in Oklahoma. Very laid back, very fun, and lots for the kids to do. The posted rules are simple yet enforced: No cussin, no drinkin, and no smokin. The last one was particularly tough for my six year old.
In the 2007 $30 WRC we used duct tape to patch the boat, and it turned out not to be very waterproof. This time I decided to try Gorilla Tape. It's super sticky, but turned out to be even less waterproof than the duct tape. By the time we realized that the tape wasn't going to cut it we were out on the river and our ride was long gone. We wound up tearing strips of foam off of our awesome seat cushions and stuffing it into the crack. We still had to bail all day long, but it slowed the flow to a manageable rate.
The Western Patch-Nosed snake, Salvadora hexalepis. One of the many non-venemous snakes in the area, it feeds upon lizards, snakes, reptile eggs, and small rodents.
So! I finally got half a braincell scraped together enough to remember to take in-progress photos of my current big ass project.
What are these? There are various panels of denim, namely the ones that needed patching, cannibalized from 5 pairs of tatty old jeans from the stockpile I've got in the basement.
Patched with chunks cut from trimming down pieces that didn't have holes, and sewn with whatever threads I felt like using on the machine.
why are they 16 inches long though? Well, they're going to become part of a recycled denim kimono. I've got enough for the 2 migoro panels already, there's just the Okumi, sode, and eri left to contend with..and the lining ofcourse.
Officials with Europe District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and partners celebrated the construction groundbreaking on a 21st-century elementary school for Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, March 1.
Representatives from Patch Elementary School and DoDEA-Europe, U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, the Staatliches Hochbauamt Stuttgart and contractors Peter Gross Hoch und Tiefbau and Wolff & Müller Government Services, a joint-venture partnership for the construction, and Ondra Generalplaner, the agency that designed the facility attended the event.
The early 115,000 square-feet school, scheduled to open for the 2021 school year, will house 550 students from prekindergarten through the fifth grade for a cost of nearly $50 million.

Ancient Aliens Patches is a small project to create a limited collection of badges inspired by supposed original Mayan archeological finds. I love ancestral cultures, as the Mayan, and science fiction books and films, so this Ancient Aliens Patches are the perfect mix of both.
Sometimes I feel like I don't belong on this planet. Actually, many times and for many reasons, and I'm sure you too. It’s not just a question of being different but you really are, each of us is unique. Each one in its own way is special. So I decided to design and produce these identificative patches, thinking about all those people who sometimes feel out of place, that they are not like the others and hope someday to return to their true home, with their own.
I believe we are not alone in the universe, so I will be waiting for my friends from the stars to come and pick me up soon or late.
Finally SimCity is starting to feel like it should with Patch 7.0 introducing traffic fixes and a bridge/tunnel tool.
I finally have a 100K population city without a traffic jam going in/out!
Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. My old Scouting Project SOAR patch. I did a lot of work with my Troops recycling projects (Troop 68, Wappingers Falls, NY). I also got a trip on the Clearwater as part of that work.
I was watching "The Birdcage" again last night and noticed that this patch was in the scrapbook that Nathan Lane's character was going through.
