Friends and family gathered at Oars and Paddles Park in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, to celebrate Hunter Babcock's 4th birthday party Oct. 24, 2021. The gifts, games, cake, and decorations paid homage to Hunter's favorite theme: dinosaurs!
After the party, Hunter and his family visited a pumpkin patch at Satellite Beach Methodist Church to select the perfect pumpkins to carve for Halloween.

I washed my Brita pitcher in the dishwasher and the basin warped *just* enough that the lid no longer fits. A few pieces of making tape and a custom-made polymer clay gap-filler later, and I once again have a working pitcher. (Notice I didn't say "good as new." I'll make do with "working" for now.)

Sometimes I feel like I don't belong on this planet. Actually, many times and for many reasons, and I'm sure you too. It’s not just a question of being different but you really are, each of us is unique. Each one in its own way is special. The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.
Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.
Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.
Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.

Max Patch Mountain is a beautiful bald mountain on the North Carolina/Tennessee border just outside GSMNP. We had high hopes for Sunset shots here, but we took a little long at midnight hole, making us arrive here right at dusk. This is the best I could do with the low light, but the blues really came out well I thought. This is definitely a great place to hike.
