P-40N in the Royal Air Force Museum Hendon. This aircraft is marked up as Kittyhawk FX760 / GA-? operated by No 112 Squadron, RAF in Italy during 1944.
This is actually a composite of more than one aircraft recovered from New Guinea in 1974, although the main fuselage section is from P-40N-15CU, USAAF serial 42-106101.

For communities in Switzerland dependent on winter snow it has always been a gamble with one season there being too much of the stuff and the next like this with perhaps just a little bit remaining on the higher slopes. Here at Scoul in the top left hand corner of the country close to the border with both Austria and Italy was a 1982 thirty-eight seater Mercedes-Benz 0303 with bodywork by Frech-Hoch of Sissach and a lot of the work for the PTT was running ski-buses.
