I found this pin while going through some of my Mom's belongings after she passed, it was given to my mother when she graduated from Nursing school and I keep it in my jewelry box. On the back of the pin is her first initial P for Pat and her last name Gill and the year she graduated 1953. I'm so glad that I have it, it's treasure. The other medals are my long term employee pins from Saint Joseph Hospital a hospital where I spent 28 years of my life as a Respiratory Therapist!

The Westerschelde with its gullies and shallows is amongst other things the gateway to the busy port of Antwerp. So the pilots perform a crucial function.
The Belgian Pilot 4 'Pieter P Rubens' is shown here while entering Vlissingen harbour. It's one of the 3 Belgian pilot vessels that at the time were stationed in Vlissingen. Some vitals about this boat: Crew: 3. Dimensions: 26 X 6 m. Max. speeds: 22,0 knots, service speeds 18,0 knots.

Plumeria is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. Most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees. The species variously are indigenous to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, and as far south as Brazil, but are grown as cosmopolitan ornamentals in warm regions. Common names for plants in the genus vary widely according to region, variety, and whim, but Frangipani or variations on that theme are the most common. Plumeria also is used directly as a common name, especially in horticultural circles.
Frangipani, Any of the shrubs or small trees that make up the genus Plumeria. A perfume is derived from the flower imitating the odour of the flower of one species, P. rubra. The white-edged, yellow flowers of the Mexican frangipani (P. rubra acutifolia) are a popular component of the Hawaiian lei.
