A shot from January. The overflow only overflowed for 48 hours last year, and so far just 24 hours this year.
I have it set up to email me when the water level reaches a certain level. You have to drop everything and go as soon as you get the email because if you don't you'll miss it.

Tree and overflowing pond, Church Meadow, Maulden, Bedfordshire, 5 Feb 2021
On my daily dog walk.
Last October this was bone dry.
Now it is full.
The water level has risen by 15cm in the last 2 weeks. The land on the far (downhill) side is a now a swamp.
The water level only needs to rise by maybe 5cm before it comes over the top.
River Bela at Beetham Weir, nr Milnthorpe, Cumbria. The heavy rain in the area on 22/8/16 led to the river bursting its bank swamping the nearby waterfront.

Thanks for viewing my photos, I really appreciate you taking the time, and for the faves and comments you make thank you.
Someone should be able to find the living God in Scripture—and this is His word—and then lead others to find him there, and all theology properly ends in contemplation and love and union with God—not ideas about Him and a set of rules about how to wear your hat. The Mass is the center of everything and in so far as it is Calvary it is the center of Scripture and the key to everything—history, everything. All the trouble going on now. (11.27.49 RJ 172)

Another seascape photograph from Troon, Scotland. Taken just as some sinister looking clouds were coming in.
CSX Y10115 pulls a cut of cars through Beech Street on their way to Grafton. The yard was plugged full of trains on this morning, and several coal and carload trains were parked on the west side of town awaiting space to enter.
The rivers are full and oveflowing this year causing tremendous flow over our local waterfalls. ... a portion of Inglis Falls is captured here
The mist that had formed in the "Hartington Bowl" was overflowing south into the higher ground around Gateham Grange and gave some wonderful effects as it was caught by the early sun.
Another from last weekends stormy dawn at Takapuna, NZ
Always like the different colours and light that these conditions can create, even if they only last a few minutes
Have a good day!
Film Photography Podcast's Mr. Brown Low ISO film. This was not an easy film to shoot with or develop. ISO 6, and I couldn't find any recipes, so I winged it. And got it a bit wrong.
For THE ROMANTIC SEASON

Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!
