Project SoulPancake: Stay Up All Night
The challenge:
Some serious caffeine may be needed to complete this week's challenge. But we all know some of the greatest spontaneous bursts of creativity come when we're wired and tired. So let's all give this a go and see what happens.
This week's challenge is to stay up all night.
I'm sure a lot of us will be waiting until next weekend to complete this challenge. And there will likely be quite a few of us who attempt but fail at staying up all night. That's ok too. It's the attempt that counts. TRY it. See what happens. And then tell us about it!

Okay so for this week's challenge I decided that I'd try and better my record on sleeplessness and head for 48 hours without sleeping. While i reached 39 hours, I realised that I had to go driving the next day and the prospect of trying to drive without enough sleep seemed particularly foolish so I went to bed before completing reaching my target. On the otherhand, I did reach 39 hours and was a much safer driver the next day. I may attempt to reach that 48 hour target another day.
I've never had much difficulty in staying awake so this challenge was relatively easy apart from the need to ensure that I wasn't a danger to others in my sleep deprived state.
Shayla Rudd, 10, swings in the backyard as her father Kelvin Rudd watches nearby in their home in Victoria. Shayla was born weighing 1 pound 7 ounces at 24 weeks. After she was born Shayla was in the hospital for 358 days and her doctors said she probably wouldn't live past 5-years-old. The predictions they gave her parents were that Shayla would be on a ventilator her whole life, she wouldn't talk or be able to walk well enough to get up and down stairs. She wasn't expected to be able to live any kind of independent life. Today Shayla is extremely active physically, talking and just celebrated her 10th birthday. "All those things they said she wouldn't do, shes actually doing. She's come a long way." her mother Willishia Rudd said.

On July 29, DAV hosted inaugural Day of Inspiration in Tampa, Florida, ahead of the 2021 DAV and Auxiliary National Convention. Veterans and active military members in the Tampa area and beyond were invited to participate in a free, one-day event to hear from nationally recognized speakers who delivered powerful stories throughout the day.

I got the wool for my latest crochet project online, and my first reaction on opening the box was to see if the cat was amenable to being buried in the yarn. She wasn't, so I used Ginny here as a stand-in. (I'll play with my cat, but I won't make her miserable.)
Though life comes with obstacles we have to know how to overcome them, that's when we will become a successfull person
This photo is a rather typical, cliché example of art related to social anxiety. The person in question is covering their face, trying to hide from everyone, yet their actual face is clearly displayed, as if they were putting on a facade to cover up their fears and anxieties. Anymore, this seems less relevant as people currently seem to wear their issues on their sleeves and celebrate them. As much as I find this phenomenon to be alarming, it is also fascinating how people can take their personal struggles and wear them like a badge of pride. However, this act can be perfectly acceptable as long as they are also seeking treatment.
An inspiring moment Tuesday night when people joined hands around the Capitol and sang "We Shall Overcome."
We shall overcome, but it's going to tke a long, hard struggle. The battle for the soul of Wisconsin is moving on to the recalls as a first step. Letter from Here.
Effective strategies to overcome social anxiety prove helpful to scores of individuals. It is crucial to resolve this problem at the earliest else, it may prove disastrous.

What is better? To be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort , Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and asks the ghosts if honor matters.
The silence is your answer , Even in dark times, we cannot relinquish the things that make us human.
